to me stating he had water issues I went out without hesitation as we stand by our work. What was discovered was mainly doors leaking from top and removed siding to check flashing and made adjustments where needed. Through more investigation when water issues still remained we looked at other potential issues. We started to look at roof and discovered that roofing was not installed correctly no starter course was installed and nails where exposed. In addition there was a gutter helmet installed in correctly creating more issues. So with all of this said yes I spoke with kens new gutter contractor on phone about gutters and he said he was going to take down the gutter . He told me what he was going to do. I told him I would have my sider there to come up with game plan. Gutter was ta[redacted] down and issues were discovered with facia that was never installed correctly there large gaps, gutters were installed way too low to correctly collect rain water and roof issues still remain. I was advised by my Sider that these were old issues and not part of our original scope of work. Review: Chris F[redacted] who was our general contractor hired [redacted] leach to side our residence at [redacted]. We have had multiple water issues in which water has been leaking down the siding in windows and doors. I spoke to Chris about the problem and he sent [redacted] back to slide some metal up under the gutters to try and fix the problem. It did not work. I then contacted another contractor to find out what was wrong. The contractor removed the gutters and observed that the facia boards were never replaced and had large cracks in them. The contractor stated the way to fix the problem would be to replace the boards and install a facia and soffit to resolve the water problem. I contacted [redacted] leach and he told me that when he originally was hired by Chris he told him that he should be doing a facia and soffit and remove the gutters. Chris told him he did not want to do it that way and had him mask the problem with metal wrap. The contractor contacted Chris on Friday 8/7/15 and told him the issue. Chris stated he would send [redacted] on Monday 8/10/15 to fix the problem. I spoke to [redacted] on Sunday 8/9/15 and [redacted] advised me Chris had never contacted him. [redacted] arrived Me issonday on his own to meet with the contractor to see the issue. Chris never showed up or called. The contractor removed the gutters and exposed the issue with [redacted] present. [redacted] agreed and confirmed that Chris did not have him do it right. [redacted] left the residence and stated he would talk to Chris to get the materials and fix thue. I tried to call Chris who still to date has not responded to my calls or text messages. I spoke to [redacted] on Tuesday 8/11/15 to see when he would respond back to complete the work. [redacted] advised me that he spoke to Chris and Chris told him he would not be completing any work. At this point my gutters are off and my house is exposed to the element. The contractor who exposed the issue advised he would be able to fix the problem for $1000.00. I have been unable to contact Chris and have to now pay this out of my pocket to resolve his issue. I currently have the contractor scheduled Thursday 8/13/15 to complete the work due to the fact that leaving it exposed can cause a further issue. Chris stated he would address the issue and that is why we had the current contractor expose the issue. He has refused to resolve the issue and had knowledge that it wasn't completed right and ignored bobs advice.Desired Settlement: I think that Chris Falkowsky was dis honest and deceptive. I feel he should pay the $1000.00 to fix the issue and his license should be questioned so that he does not do this to anyone else. I hired Chris to do siding windows doors and bathrooms and question was else has been hidden
