sincerely,

I contacted you back in January of this year due to the substandard results of having my floor done by this company. Claim # [redacted]. At that point they replied and said they would fix the problem when the weather got warmer and we were fine with that. Well, it is now the end of September and after a multitude phone calls to these people, someone came to fix it this past Saturday. It is horrible. Color was applied to the areas and then a sealer, it was not really repaired, just tried to cover it up and it did not work.On behalf of the person who came to repair it(Joe, the former owner of this business), he was not the original person and there was not a whole lot he could do with this mess. The entire sale of the product and construction was handled by Sue, who is now the current owner of the business. She is the one who promised to take care of this problem and has now washed her hands of it and threw it back into the former owner's lap. I don't feel it is his problem since he had nothing to do with the original contract. As I said, he tried to fix it, but it is not repairable. At this point, I have had enough. It's been over a year. I would like a refund of my money and no longer am going to allow them in my home. I would appreciate your help with this problem. I paid $2000 to get this done(including a last minute surface sealer that we were told we "had to have"). That's a lot of money for me to pay for a floor that I will now have to cover with a rug.Thank you for your help

I want a full refund of all monies paid for this product and service.

Review: New countertops were installed and the edge of the counter is burned from the heat of the stove. We were told to call if there were any problems and I have called at least 5 times with no responseDesired Settlement: I would like the necessary repairs done to fix it

Review: Within one year of having my floors and countertops resurfaced with a concrete finish, I logged my complaint with Creative Surfaces, asking that they come to look at some areas of degradation in the products. I was told someone would call me to schedule an appointment, but that has not happened. I followed up a month later to say that I hadn't heard anything, and it was now over my 1 year warranty period, and I was told they had a large backlog and would be in touch soon. I has now been 5 months since I first logged my complaint and I still have not been contacted.Desired Settlement: I would not like Creative Surfaces to do any more work in my home. I would like a partial refund for the lack of quality in workmanship, for which they provide a warranty.

Review: We contracted this company to install a decorative concrete floor coating in our family room. We were told the flooring was extremely strong, in fact 10X stronger than concrete. When the installer arrived, he ground down the old concrete and told us we needed a special coating that cost $400 or the floor wouldn't work, so we agreed to have that done.As he was putting down the product, I noticed that the "grout" lines were different colors on each side of the room. When asked, the installer stated it would be OK. After the installation, I had to sign a form stating it was satisfactory, but was unable to examine the job because it was wet and couldn't be walked on.The installer stated that after 24 hours, everything would be dry and we could use the room, slide the furniture around if we wanted and it wouldn't do anything to the floor. Being a cautious person, we waited 48 hours before entering the room. It was very obvious that the "grout" lines remained two different colors. Also, the area in front of the hearth was very uneven, going uphill and in front of the entrance the colors were not blended correctly. The next day, my wife went to the company and told the sales person, [redacted], of these problems. She came out to look and agreed those areas were problems. He came out to "fix" it and although is was less than satisfactory, we let it go.Within a couple of days after that, the floor began to chip. My wife again went to the office and [redacted] stated the would come out to fix it. They made several appointments with us and then never bothered to show up.My wife then contacted the home office in Arizona and spoke with the owner, [redacted], on several occasions and still nothing has been corrected and the floor continues to chip and no one will help us correct the problem, which started in September 2013.Desired Settlement: We would like the floor adequately repaired or be refunded our cost of nearly $2000.
