My husband and I just moved into a newly built home. This company is responsible for our hardwood floors and tiles in this home. The hardwood floors had adhesive, paint and scratches everywhere. My husband and I spent approximately 100~ hours on our hands and knees scraping away paint and adhesive. The tiles have hard glue all over them. The tile/hardwood is poorly laid out at the enterance of our laundry room, and every time we enter or the room, we stump our toes because of the un-eveness. This company was notified and failed 5 times to show up for appointments. The Manager to this company called me at 7pm and assured me this will never happen again, only that no one from their service has yet to show up to fix any work. The builder and contractor to this home has contacted that company SEVERAL times for not only my home but many other homes to have issues fixed and they have not shown up. This company needs to be looked into and either get them into gear or shut down.Desired Settlementwe would like for the issues to be fixed by this company. And if they are not fixed, we will find someone else and we would want this company to pay for the expense.Business Response We have taken action to resolve the issues that the customer had brought forward. The issue was brought to our attention through a time of excessive turnover, causing missed communication and frustration for the customer. After understanding the level of frustration she was dealing with we made sure all sub-contractor repair technicians were on site and supervised by our office to ensure the job was completed to her satisfaction.

Hard wood floor very poorly installed. Failed to keep appointments twice!HDS-CTI installed my hard wood floor (my builder chose this supplier), but they did a very poor job. There are many hollow spots which caused very squeaky floor. Then I scheduled appointment with them asking someone come to fix it. First appointment was on 04/01/2014 (didn't specify the time frame), so I asked leave from work and stayed at home for a whole day, but no body ever showed up. I asked why, they told me the installer came but no one was home. This was impossible because I never went out, even for a minute. We doubled confirmed the address was correct. Then we scheduled the second appointment on 04/09/2014 at 9-10 am. Again, I asked leave from work and stayed at home, but no body came at all. After 10 am, I emailed them to ask if something had happened and left my cell phone number to them, asking them to call me in case they can't make it that day. But didn't reply until the end of the day, by that time I had stayed at home for another day. To my surprise, they told me, the installer came but no one was home again. I swear to God, I never left my home, even for a second!I stayed in my study room which is next to my door bell, it's not possible that I couldn't hear the door bell ringing. Had they really come and found no one was home, why would they haven't called me? I lost 2 work days, only to find being stood up twice, and my floor problem is still there.Desired SettlementFix my floor problem as soon as possible

CTI installed a different hardwood floor style#, gloss/tent/color and quality than that listed on our contract and selected at the studio. Creative Touch Interiors (www.ctihome.com) switched products and installed a hardwood flooring product that has a different product number, gloss, tent/color, wear layer, and core than the flooring product we selected during our options selection meeting at CTI design studios in Morrisville NC. In addition, the warranty information and registration website given on the product box ([redacted]) does not exist. Neither the builder, [redacted] Homes Inc. ([redacted],) nor CTI will supply us with the original receipt (as requested by the flooring manufacturer [redacted]) so that we can register the product. Neither [redacted] Homes Inc. nor CTI will use the original receipt to register the product for us in our name as we requested in writing. The product we were shown and selected during our options selection meeting in July 2012 was labeled HW 219 Nottoway Hickory 5"; Color Weathered Saddle and from [redacted] "Home Foundations" division/selection. The product installed in our home (built by [redacted] Homes Inc. January 2013 and we closed January 29, 2013) is labeled 0028W Color 941 (Weathered Saddle). This 0028W product is not from [redacted] "Home Foundations" and is obviously a very different tent/color and quality than the HW 219 CTI used to get us to pay $11,500.00 for 924 square feet at $12.30 per square feet. Before agreeing to pay this very high price for HW219, we did our research and found that HW219 Nottoway Hickory 5" was sold by [redacted] for $4-5/sf. and that it was available through [redacted] as HW219 Nottoway Hickory or the comparable product direct from [redacted] industries "Direct Division" as Pebble Hill Hickory 5". This would allow us to match the flooring if needed at a later date. We would never have agreed to pay $12.30 for the 0028W which is not from [redacted] "Home Foundations" selection/division. The [redacted] customer service representative we spoke with by phone during our attempt to register this 0028W product stated the 0028W is a builders supply number and she would not confirm that it was from their "Home Foundations" selection or a [redacted] product at all (the conversation was recorded). To date, January 1, 2014, the warranty registration website for www.[redacted] still does not exist. Indeed the 0028W is obviously a different product and has an inferior gloss, tent/color, and quality than the HW219 product we selected from the [redacted] Home Foundations selection at CTI. History: During the first options selection meeting at the CTI design studio July 27, 2012, the CTI representative [redacted] informed us it would cost more than the $13,000 allowance we included in our contract with [redacted] Homes Inc. to get Nottoway Hickory 5" to cover approximately 2,000 square feet of our home. The $13,000.00 was the cost our builder [redacted] Home Inc. estimated would be "more than enough" to get Nottoway Hickory 5". The CTI representative [redacted] offered us a lower quality product to cover 2,000 square feet. We refused that lower quality product. Our agent was present, noticed our dissatisfaction and suggested we ask the builder for an allowance to get 2000 sf. of the product HW219 at the price of $13,000. [redacted] Homes Inc. refused any assistance with the cost. We returned to CTI approximately one week later and reduced the hardwood coverage to 924 square feet for $11,500.00 in order to get the product labeled HW219 Nottoway Hickory 5" color: Weathered Saddle from the "Home Foundations" selection. Therefore, we made a specific selection of HW219 Nottoway Hickory 5" Weathered Saddle and refused all other products except this HW219 Nottoway Hickory 5"product. Nottoway Hickory 5" was then written on our contract as requested. How ever, CTI and [redacted] Homes Inc. made a deliberate switch to a cheaper product of 0028W color 941 which is not from [redacted], "Home Foundations" selection/division. Desired SettlementThis complaint is not an attempt to get the Revdex.com to mediate a settlement. Considering CTI and [redacted] Homes Inc. will not respond and/or give us the original receipt so that we can register the product or resolve the issue of installing a product with a different gloss/tent color and ware layer, we must go through binding arbitration, i.e. pay someone to arbitrate. The information given above and below is what we will present to a mediator to resolve this issue. It documents that CTI and [redacted] Homes Inc. received our request and complaint even though [redacted] Homes Inc. will not respond to this issue. In Addition, we used the Revdex.com and Attorney General web pages and suggestions prior to building to select [redacted] Home Inc. and their subcontractor CTI.Considering [redacted] Homes will not respond to our request to resolve this issue and/or supply use with the original receipt we cannot register the product, match the 0028W installed in our home with HW219 Nottoway Hickory that should have been installed or the comparable Pebble Hill Hickory 5" that should match according to [redacted] or request warranty work as per the warranty (we cannot get)we request [redacted] Homes Inc. and CTI immediately: 1)Return the price of $11,500.00 w e paid to have the "[redacted] HW 219 NottowayHickory 5" Weathered Saddle-Home Foundations" installed plus the interest over 30 years of $6,517.00 for a total of $18,017.00. 2) Registerthe product they installed in our home with [redacted] Inc. in our name and provide us with a copy of the original receipt. 3) Supply uswith 1,700 square feet of the 0028W product installed in our home so that we can complete the flooring in our home with the matchingproduct.
