Creche Du Monde

Review: This is complaint against the Creche Du Monde daycare. I brought my 3.5 month old daughter for her "transition week" during the week of August ** before she would officially start daycare 2 weeks later. I stayed with her for approx 1 hr 2 days in a row and on the 3rd day I left her with the daycare worker ([redacted]) for 1 hr. When I returned she was hysterically crying and the worker ([redacted]) was attempting to feed her, sticking a bottle in her mouth which I felt was a choking hazard since my daughter was not yet calm enough to begin eating. I was unhappy with the way she was feeding her and failing to calm her down so I calmed her down myself and began feeding her. Once my daughter finished feeding and I was burping her she began spitting up in large amounts. at which point [redacted] looked at me with shock and asked "does she do that a lot?" [redacted] also asked if [redacted], the director, was aware of her spitting up, as if it was an inconvenience for her to deal with. We had already told [redacted] about my daughter's [redacted] and she assured us it would be handled well. [redacted] did not offer to help clean my daughter up, although she was covered in spit up, and I needed to ask for assistance to do so. It was a completely unnerving experience to witness such a lack of care and professionalism from a place that was supposed to be caring for my child. My husband immediately called [redacted], the director, to tell her that we were pulling our daughter out and we were expecting a full refund. She said she normally would not provide the refund but she would do it in this case because of the special circumstances. She has since been extremely difficult to reach via phone or email throughout the past month, as if she is intentionally ignoring our calls and lying to us about her whereabouts. On the rare occasions she decides to pick up the phone or return an email she assures us we will get our $ back by the end of the week. Unfortunately almost 2 months have passed and we have yet to recieve a refundDesired Settlement: We would like our deposit of one month's daycare tuition ($1800.00) paid back in full by the director as soon as possible.
