Credit Advisors

I tried this on the recommendation of a friend who said they helped them out a lot so I think they probably do good things for people in certain circumstances but in my request for a quote I explained I had many tribal online payday loans that I had already paid well over principal and didn't legally owe the amount still wanted Credit Advisors told me my wages would be garnished if I didn't pay the full balance and after I tried to explain that they are not registered lenders and i'm not legally liable, my "advisor" asserted I should pay the full alleged balance and prepared a quote based on that I declined and contacted all creditors myself In one instance, an alleged $1,balance was offered to be settled to me for a $payment with a single email, in others I was offered discounts of 50-80% The "advisor" had no negotiation knowledge at all and simply wanted to add up my alleged balances and tack on the fee I get the feeling this is a good option for people with brick and mortar payday loans looking to get out of the "cycle", but no knowledge of negotiating illegal and usurious loans
