Review: I entered in to a Letter of Engagement with Credit Advocates dated April **, 2013 in order for them to provide a service of contacting my creditors listed in the Agreement, negotiating their balances and paying them as agreed. To the best of my knowledge only 1 of my 5 creditors was contacted and balance negotiated. I have not missed any payments, they are automatically deducted from my checking account since the start of this arrangement. They collect/charge a fee for their services and I have not received any information regarding communications with my other 4 creditors. Recently, I received a [redacted] from one of the creditors, I called Credit Advocates on April **, 2014 and they told me to email the [redacted] immediately and someone from their litigation group would contact me in 10 days. On April **, 2014 I had not been contacted so I called and spoke with John. He told me they had not received my email, so I resent it. I called minutes later and spoke with China, who informed me they had received my email including the [redacted] and that someone in their Litigation group would contact me in 2-3 days. As of this morning, nobody contacted me - so I called again. They said they hadn't received my email with [redacted] and transferred me to [redacted] in the Litigation group. [redacted] confirmed the same. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was transfered to [redacted]. [redacted] gave me his direct email-I emailed the [redacted] asking for immediate confirmation. I have called, left voice mail messages and got a [redacted], [redacted] who gave me his own personal fax number. I faxed the document and [redacted] sent me an email confirming receipt and that the [redacted] was sent to the "litigation group". He mentioned that [redacted], Jr. was who I initially spoke with and sent an email to. I waited and called [redacted], **, left messages and have called and left voice messages for him to please confirm reciept in writing, via email ASAP. There has not been a response. I also emailed Credit Advocates on April **and today requesting a copy of all correspondence to/from my creditors. I have not received a response. Prior to my involvement with this company, my creditors were all paid timely. I wanted to consolidate my debts in order to make payments easier and at lower interest, etc. Since April of 2013 my credit has TANKED.Desired Settlement: I would like for Credit Advocates to do the following:

a. Respond to the [redacted] prior to the deadline (which is April **, 2014);

b. Provide me with the negotatiated amounts and pay off figures for each creditor;

c. Provide me with the total amount due.

If this cannot be provided, I would like Creditor Advocates to represent me with respect to the [redacted] as agreed, contact each of my creditors, have them write off the late fees/interest for the same and allow me, Have each creditor remove damaging comments/late reports etc. on my credit report, allow me to terminate the contract with Credit Advocates and I will resume payments with my creditors directly.

Review: I have been working with the Credit Advocate Law Firm in Debt resolution. My beginning debt was $57,234.51 and I have been making payments for the past 34 months. I haven't heard anything about my final and largest creditor and called several times to have the matter settled. I was told by [redacted] (phone: ###-###-####) that he would call me the Wednesday following Memorial Day weekend, he never called...I tried to reach him with no response. On 6/**/15 I was issued a summons stating that I was being sued by the [redacted]. This is the 2nd time this has occurred while in the program (I initially had 4 creditors). The program was 36 months and I only have 2 more payments to go. After calling and talking to whomever was available I again spoke with [redacted] who advised me that this was bad and the Law firm would expect 90/95%. He gave me a few options and I would then have to stay in the program for another 3 to 4 years. I called today 6/** and asked to speak to someone other than [redacted]. I spoke with [redacted] (phone: ###-###-####/ [redacted]), I repeated the name back to him. He spoke with the Law firm handling my debt and came back with a few options. I would still end up more money than was original and would end up in the program for at least to more years. I terminated my contract with them. At approximately 4:20 I received a call from the Credit Advocate Law firm. The man I spoke with wanted to know why I wanted to terminate the program. He stated that I had talked to [redacted] (apparently when I asked for his name he gave me a false one). This company fails to communicate with their clients, lies to them, and ends up putting them in more debt than what they started out. Yes, I am the one who created this problem, but I was trying to do the right thing and pay off what I could of my debts. Now I am worse off then I started. I paid them retainer fees ($800), service costs ($8585.28),Legal Admin. Fees ($2686)=$12071.28. They did not fulfill their part of the contract.Desired Settlement: Refund of services: Retainer Fees ($900.00), Service Costs ($8585.28), Legal Administration fees ($2686.00) = $12171.28 and $10,000 toward the final debt as it has increased from $57,234.51 to almost $73,000.

Sincerely,

Review: I enrolled in the Debt Relief program with Credit Advocates Law Firm, LLC. of [redacted] (Client ID: [redacted]) in October 2012. After explaining my situation with staff at Credit Advocates Law Firm (herein after known as Credit Advocates), we agreed for me to make monthly payment of $676.83 to Credit Advocates so they can negotiate and in turn pay my creditors. Prior to this advice, my accounts were in good standing; my only challenge was the increasing debt burden from which I wanted relief. Credit Advocates advised that I forward all correspondence from creditors to them. The terms of my agreement were such that Credit Advocates would represent me in Court if any creditors pursued court action.

American Express sued me and I forwarded the summons to Credit Advocates, but they failed to represent me in court. Subsequently, a judgment was entered against me. The courts sent another letter giving me 21 days to respond as to why their prior adjudication should not be carried out. Again, I forwarded the letter to Credit Advocates. They promised to “take care of the matter”, however, they did nothing. What is worse, Credit Advocates failed to inform me of their inaction. I would have gone to court to plead my case, if I knew they’d do nothing. Subsequently, my bank account was garnished and filing for bankruptcy became my only option. The same bankruptcy Credit Advocates advised against as I enrolled in their debt relief program. I feel duped, betrayed and embarrassed by Credit Advocates. Then I demanded a refund of my funds and they sent me a check for $787.46 (seven hundred and eighty seven dollars and forty-six cents). A representative of Credit Advocates said, “This was all I was entitled to”, out of a total of $4,060.98 (four thousand sixty dollars and ninety-eight cents) I contributed. I seek your intervention and redress in this matter. I am confident that based on the way Credit Advocates treated my case, I am not the only one who has been victimized by their debt relief schemes.Desired Settlement: I demand a full refund of all the funds I contributed to the program.

Review: For 13 months $745.90 a month was withdrawn from my checking account on behalf of Credit Advocates Law Firm LLC, from here on referred to as CALF, for a total of $9696.70.

On January **, 2014, I decided to terminate my contract with CALF and sent a Registered Termination letter to CALF at, [redacted] there New York office, it was received and signed for by a CALF representative on January **, 2014.

On Jan. **2014, a withdrawal on behalf of CALF was performed but since I had insufficient funds I was charged a $**.00 overdraft.

On Jan. **, 2014, I received an email on behalf of CALF stating that insufficient funds were in my checking account for the monthly payment to the Escrow account and funds would be taken from the Escrow for the monthly payments.

On Jan. **, 2014, I had a phone message from [redacted] of CALF to call ###-###-####, regarding my account.

On Feb. **, 2014, at 3:43 pm I called CALF and spoke to [redacted], he questioned why I wanted to terminate and said they were in final negotiations with one of my creditors and near resolution, ready to contact me with the proposal amount. I asked what amount was in my ESCROW account, he said $2854.57. I said that was ridiculous since I was current on all payments to all my creditors over the past 13 months by the advice of their representative [redacted] since I was trying to refinance my home and how could they take almost $7000.00 for providing no services. He said the amount withdrawn was for strategy sessions on how to proceed with my account and the person that brought contract to sign. [redacted] said that I could request a Refund review stating reasons, sent to [redacted] which I did the next day.

On Feb. **, 2014, I contacted my creditor via computer chat, which I printed, inquiring as to anyone contacting them on my behalf to resolve my debt. They had no records of any contacts on my behalf to resolve any debt.

On Feb. **, 2014, I received an email from Jennifer Aracena a CALF representative with a Termination form to be completed and returned which I did on Feb. **, 2014.

On Feb. **, 2014, I received an email stating that my email and attachment were received and I would contacted in 2-3 business days. On this date I received a Refund Check dated Feb. **. 2014, in the amount of $2854.57 from Global Client Solutions, LLC.

The Refund amount $2854.57 which is over 69% of the $9696.70, ESCROW total, withdrawn from my checking account by CALF for performing no services is unacceptable. Since I am current with all payments to all of my creditors and there were no services provided by CALF a full refund in the amount of $9696.70 would be acceptable and provided.Desired Settlement: Full Refund of Funds withdrawn from checking $9696.70
