Move was done 6/19/I had actually used this company the year prior and had a great experience so chose to use them again for a near-identical move with near-identical crew, and again, just down the street in the same neighborhoodFor some reason this time experience was horrendous in almost every way, took much longer, poor service, very careless moving and (presumably) packing, refusal to move items to correct locations after multiple requests (and explanations beforehand, all items and rooms labeled), missing parts, furniture not put together right, damaged walls, electric dryer not hooked up and moved in place (left it in the middle of the laundry room, I guess expecting me (single woman of young children) to move it for them, and above all, MANY damaged items of furnitureWas told by manager at that time (Alex Musskopf) to submit claims for damaged items and "all would be taken care of"In the meantime management changed and employers changed, spoke again with new managers and explained all, new manager (*** ***) was horrified, apologetic, and told me the same thing, fill claim and "all would be taken care ofSubmitted all claims with dozens of photos and reimbursement requested per their policy ($0.60/pound) on 3/19/Then exactly month later (their max timeframe for a response) was told they need furniture repair company to come out and verify, which they did on 4/19/Since then I have received no response from MovePros despite multiple attempts to contact them re: this pending claim My claim was for lbs of damaged (and documented) property at their standard rate of $0.60/lbI also requested refund of the $gratuity I gave the movers before I realized all the items they had left undone without reason or explanation, as well as the lost and damaged items which I didn't realize until laterWith their poor service, they did not even thank me for the tip after all the extra time I spent with them trying to get them to correct their mistakesAll of the above with compounded interest over 15mos this would come to $ I have yet to hear back from them, over a year since the terrible moving experience After my first move I was recommending them to others (and had actually chosen them based on recommendation since I really needed professional and reliable movers) Now I recommend them to no one, and actually will be proceeding with a formal complaint to the CPUC
