*** *** #*** Consumer never mentioned that she went bankruptcy, until May 10, 2016. As with any consumer that goes bankruptcy, we take it very seriously and we request a copy of the bankruptcy. However, looking back into the notes we found out that consumer has requested
information on January 25, regarding the accounts and we have forward her a copy of the itemized statement on January 30, 2013. On which she stated didn't remember about the accounts and that she would be making a payment. On February 11, 2013, she walked into our office and made a $cash payment. If she would of told us that she filed bankruptcy on July 2012, we would of requested the paperwork back then and she wouldn't have come into our office to make a payment on February 11, 2013. If you have any questions regarding this matter, feel free to contact our office. We look forward to resolving this matter. Thank you, *** ** ***Customer Service Manager

Tell us why here...Dear Revdex.com:  This serves as a response to the additional information provided by consumer regarding our initial response to the Revdex.com Complaint, ID # [redacted].  The consumer has three different accounts placed with Credit Bureau of Imperial County (“CBIC”).  Each of these accounts relate to services received by the consumer.  The underlying services for these accounts were performed for consumer on the following dates: April 29, 2010, April 19, 2011, and October 2, 2012.  Consumer filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy in on April 11, 2012.  Consumer’s bankruptcy petition did not list any of the individual accounts placed with CBIC, nor CBIC itself in the Schedule F.  Further the Creditor Address Matrix does not list CBIC nor the individual accounts.  Therefore, CBIC did not receive notice of the filing of consumer’s bankruptcy.  Consumer does not state CBIC was ever served notice of consumer’s bankruptcy filing.  Further, consumer made voluntary post-petition payments on one of the CBIC accounts in September 2012 and on another CBIC account in February 2013 without notifying CBIC of the bankruptcy.  Consumer did not inform CBIC of consumer’s bankruptcy until May 10, 2016.   Consumer refused to provide CBIC with any evidence of consumer’s bankruptcy filing.  As Consumer notes in the Follow Up Message, bankruptcy is a matter of public records.  The account services performed on October 2, 2012 were performed post-petition, and therefore were not discharged through consumer’s Chapter 7 bankruptcy.  CBIC maintains its rights to collect and credit report on this account accordingly.  Lastly, CBIC is entitled to continue to credit report post-discharge accounts.  Now that CBIC is aware of the bankruptcy, CBIC will notate the bankruptcy on these accounts in their credit reports.  If consumer has any further questions regarding this matter, consumer is free to contact our office. Sincerely,
