Per the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Metro reporting does not allow for data furnishers to request deletions on paid accounts This is a federal law that we as data furnishers must abide by The consumer has the option to pay the account and dispute the account through Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion All information we furnish to Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion must be fair and accurate Requesting to delete accounts for no reason tampers with the integrity of the credit report

We show the accounts for Mr [redacted] have a date of service of July His Chapter bankruptcy was filed in April As such, his accounts with us would not fall under his bankruptcy If Mr [redacted] can provide documentation showing his accounts with us do fall under the bankruptcy, we will close the accounts and remove from the credit file As far as the multiple accounts, our client bills for every service they provide separately This creates a separate account for each service Also, these accounts are not for a hospital but for a third party service provider contracted with the hospital

On March 9, 2016, Mrs*** called in to our office inquiring what we were calling about. We verified that she is Mr*** ***'s spouse. *** was the patient on this account. Upon learning that Mrs*** is the spouse we updated our account accordingly. She stated
that she would be in our office the next day to pay the balance in full. The next day we received a check to pay the account in full. Our records have a zero balance on the account and we have notified the credit agencies, Equifax, Experian, and Transunion, of the paid status on the account. We have sent the consumers a paid letter showing the zero balance on the account

On account ***, we received a dispute letter from the consumer on 9-7-16. We sent a response to the consumer on 9-15-to address *** *** *** *** *** ** ***. This response states that all the information on the account has been verified to be correct. On

We listed an account for *** ***, *** *** *** *** *** ** *** on 10/15/in the amount of $360.13. We were informed by our client that Mrs*** is married to ***. Per the Doctrine of Necessaries, Mr*** is also responsible for his wife's account.
Without any other information regarding the account Mr*** is referring to, our investigation is closed and we have notified the bureaus to mark the account as disputed on Mr***’ credit file

I am rejecting this response because:
 Cape radiology only sent me one bill for one account .  Your dunning letter only was one bill for one account.   All of a sudden it becomes two accounts when it's time to put it on my credit file?   This is unethical and illegal.   Also, I had originally filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in April but it was not discharged  until this year.   Cape radiology   Was listed they did not show up at the meeting of creditors.  It is not my job to follow up with others  lack of responsibility.  Since you can see I had a bankruptcy then you can also see who my attorney was. I suggest you contact him.  I have already provided all that I am going to provide
