I'm filing a complaint against Credit Central LLC, for aggressive harassment and physical abuse of property. Credit Central are sending people out to homes and residents to collect on debts that were opened either in office or online. After calling and being told that payments could no longer be made the harassment starts. After hundreds of phone calls and text that's when they send out individuals to try to persuade and even bully people. And when person or persons comes out to a home or resident especially in African American and mixed communities they're causing disturbances and commotions or even destruction of property by banging on doors, windows, etc. and being disrespectful in front of neighbors. These things are being done in such an aggressive manner that it is a cause of concern of verbal or even physical abuse if confronted by person or persons. That kind of behavior in these communities has become actionable where its starting to be recorded by cameras home or phone. When at the end of it all the debt will still be turned over to collections and sent to the credit bureaus for payment.

Dear Ms.:

We are in receipt of your complaint filed with the Revdex.com dated September 27, 2019. I have reviewed your complaint with the assistance of Antonio R, District Supervisor. Mr. R reached out to you by phone on September 30, 2019 to discuss your concerns. He determined that Credit Central has not pulled your credit report since August 8, 2018, which was the first time you applied for a loan with our Company. We contacted the creditors listed by yourself in your most recent application to see if you would be a good candidate for a loan with Credit Central. Our communication with your creditors was not meant to be malicious in any way. Mr. R was able to explain our application process in a way that he believes you understood. However, if you have any additional questions at all, please do not hesitate to call him directly. Credit Central looks forward to serving your financial needs.

I borrowed money from Credit Central. I fell behind on my payments. I spoke in person with the manager and asked that she not call my job at anytime. She assured me she would not. She not only called my job repeatedly, but came to my job. She initially came for her company however, while conducting her business, she got into a conversation with one of my co-workers, telling them how I was behind and would not answer my phone.
She violated the privacy of my personal life by telling someone not associated with me or on my references about my financial problems.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me with one exception. While coming to my employment is necessary for their business, I would request they not speak to me concerning my account while at my employment or to anyone else about my account.

Regards

I noticed on my credit report that everytime I make a payment to my account, they close the account and start another. This is affecting my credit score. When they do this, it brings down my score!! Is this proper practice. I've never had this done before.

Dear Ms.:

We are in receipt of your complaint filed with the Revdex.com dated July 28, 2019. I have reviewed your complaint with the assistance of Charles J, District Supervisor. Mr. J reached out to you by phone on July 29, 2019 to discuss your concern regarding new accounts on your credit report. Once we receive that information, we will open an investigation.

I applied for a loan with the ***, SC branch in April. I was approved under the condition that they come out to check collateral. I was to give them a call with a date for them to come. When I did so, I was told that I they don’t come out to check collateral until AFTER 2pm, which limited my availability for them to come being that I work a full-time 10-hour retail job. I made multiple calls with days that I was available for them to come, just for them to make excuses every single time (someone’s on vacation, someone’s sick, it’s the first of the month and they’ll be too busy to come out). I called again 3 weeks into doing the application to be told that they already took the loan out the system because it was ALMOST 30 days since I’ve applied and that I needed to re-apply. I should have left it at that, but once AGAIN, I re-applied for the loan. They had to run my credit again, call my employer and everything else AGAIN. This time, I received a phone call asking when they could come out to check collateral and once AGAIN, they were not able to come due to someone being on vacation on the 3 available days that I told them. I called them back about a week later to give another date, which requires me to switch shifts with another manager. I did so because they stated they would be able to come that day after 2pm. I waited on that day, just to have no show nor call to say that they would be unable to come. Here we are at week 3 of my second application and they stated that they would be at my home after 2pm. Mind you, this location closes at 5:30pm. It was exactly 3:18pm when I decided that I would just call them and remind them to come. They said they could. I also asked if we could finish up the entire process TODAY and they said they could. A *** lady (not sure if she is the assistant manager) came to my home around 3:45pm to check collateral. She was very courteous throughout this process. She told me they would give me a call when she got back to come in. I received a call maybe 10 minutes after she left to come in with the remainder of the paperwork (ID’s, paystub, utility bill etc). I asked if I could have 15 minutes to get there. They said that would be okay. I got there in exactly 15 minutes, just to walk in have not have anyone of them to say anything to me. The branch manager was helping another customer at the time at the front desk, where she seemed to be in good spirits. I continued to sit there after she was finished with her customers. One of the other employees told her who I was and that I needed to finish my application. She looked at the computer and said it’s almost 5 and that the employee needed to go ahead and start closing down. The employee asked if she wanted her to go ahead and finish my loan and the manager stated she should only do it if she could finish my loan, Count all the deposits, and be off “her clock” by 5:30. The employee looked at me and told me it would be impossible for her to do all of that by 5:30 so she would be unable to finish my loan. She asked if I could get off my job early tomorrow (6/14/19) to finish the loan and I told her no. Today would be the LAST possible day for me to finish the loan because I have to go out of town next week for a work trip and by the time I got back, ANOTHER 30 days would be passing by and I would have to reapply again (which I wouldn’t have). The manager did not have the *** to say anything to me through this process nor apologize. She just kept clicking away at her computer’s keyboard. I would like to have contact from the corporate location and the branch that I visited (***, SC) with an apology for the tactics that they used to have me apply for a loan TWICE, which they were unable to fill. I am not sure if them being short of staff is apart of the issue, but I can say that the manager of this location could use an attitude adjustment. As a manager, I always fulfill the need of my customers. If she told me that she could finish the loan today, she should have, no matter if her employee had to stay past 5:30 to do so. Being the manager, SHE should have volunteered to stay to finish my loan. She didn’t even apologize on my way out. That is not the type of person you should have running a location.

Dear Ms. A:

We are in receipt of your complaint filed with the Revdex.com dated May 21, 2019. I have reviewed your complaint with the assistance of Janie E, District Supervisor. Our records indicate you obtained a loan in the amount of $1,500.00 on February 25, 2019 and agreed to repay it in ten (10) monthly installments of $150.00 beginning March 28, 2019. As of the date of this letter, two payments are due on your account. Interest rates were fully disclosed within the Promissory Note signed by yourself at the time of loan closing.

You state in your complaint that we don’t wait for you to pay us. You agreed to repay your loan in monthly installments of $150.00 paid on or before the 28th of each month. Credit Central understands that we all hit bumps in the road sometimes that make it temporarily impossible for us to honor our obligations despite our best intentions. We have worked with you by holding your account until a later date specified by yourself on four (4) separate occasions. However, each time you broke your promise to pay by that later date.

Upon investigation of your complaint, our Branch Manager Peggy H stated she saw you on the date your complaint was filed when you stopped by the office to inquire about your nephew’s loan, but she did not know that you were upset. We believe that communication with our customers is the key to a successful business relationship, and we are more than willing to help as long as you communicate with us. Janie E, District Supervisor, made several attempts to contact you in an effort to resolve your complaint but was unable to reach you. She left a voicemail for you on May 28, 2019 and May 29, 2019. Should you wish to discuss your account, please contact Janie at the phone number provided in her voicemails or Peggy at (210) 922-***.

The Credit Central in *** SC (*** Center) is awful. The staff are rude. I called to let them know I was going to be late and Crystal snapped at me. So I made up my mind that I tried to do it the right way, but no more. I was 2 weeks late this month, they showed up at my house with a threatening letter. A spread sheet of my collateral. I had mailed my payment the day before. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone! They are not a company to deal with. They're rude and they use threats and intimidation to get you to pay.

Always get fast, respectable, friendly, and professional service at Credit Central, ***, ***, Alabama, and Heather Love is the manager there and she makes certain her staff always provide the best customer service. Thanks and God bless! Mark N Tim E

On December 24th 2018, I deposited a check I received thru the mail from Credit Central of ***, AL. I signed my name on the back with my cell phone number and my ss# only. No other information. The first payment was due in January but I was unable to pay. I started receiving calls at work but I had not given them any information as to my work place. They started calling my work and my cellphone 3 to 4 times a day. They then turned my account over to their collection department. Yesterday, 02-25-19, I receive a call from a new number 256-477-*** at work again. Her name was Amy. She called my work number back to back. When I answered she told her name and where she was calling from. I hung up because I WAS AT WORK. I receive a call from my husband at around 4:30 stating Amy had called him and was looking for me. I NEVER PROVIDED ANY INFORMATION ON MY HUSBAND OR FAMILY! I then receive another call from my ex-husbands wife pissed off because Amy had called him and stated she was looking for me and that I had used him as a reference for this loan! We have been divorced 12 years!!! I then receive a call from my step son and my sister stating Amy had contacted them as well looking for me about a loan payment!!! I called this Amy person and asked her why and how did she have all of this information. She stated they run some program and can pull all of this information on everyone I know!!! HOW THE *** IS THIS LEGAL'?? She just let everyone know what she wanted and my husband had no idea about the loan, nor any of the other people she talked to but they all know now!!!

Your loan history indicates that we have not received any payments. Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, Please let us know below why you are rejecting the offer made by the business.]
I do not believe for a second that the practices of this company are legitimate. I never once stated that I didnt get the loan...my issues is them contacting my ex husband WHO HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS AND WE HVE BEEN DIVORCED FOR 10 YEARS!!! The stupid person that called him out right lied and said that I used him for a reference on this loan!! I know him and his CURRENT wife are not lying because there is no other way he would have known!! This company released personal information about me to someone who is NOT in my life!! We dont even share the last name!!! If this can not be fixed in will be pursuing legal action with a fair debt lawyer and can even proceed wwit the attorney general's office. This is nothing but a pay day loan company doing whatever they want to try and collect their pathetic loan amounts!!

Credit Central "CC" advertises the home of the $6000 tax advance. (I have a loan at CC). The advertised price for this service is $189. I elected to have my tax prepared at CC so I would be able to receive my taxes I assumed the same day. My preparer took my W-2s and entered the info into his program. I had expected to receive around $1600 but he said I would get $742. I went with the expense of preparing here so I would get the advance. I prepared on February 1. He told us it could be 10 to 30 minutes. However he said he filed a lady's return on January 24 and got it back on January 28. I checked today February 4 about my return. After he called the bank to check (he said checked but they would not give my personal information to him). I asked for the bank number so I could call personally. He said he would call me back with the bank number. He said it was the banks decision on whether to give tax advance or not. I said why? It's my money in taxes not a loan. He called me back and said the bank told him I could not get a tax advance because I did not get $2000 back to qualify for an advance.
1) I choose to pay $189 instead of H&R because of the advertised tax advance.
2) The fees turned out to be $298. This includes $39 so CC could receive my refund.
3) I did not qualify for a tax advance because of the size of my refund.
4) Had I known I would receive no benefit from this expensive preparation I would have either prepared my own or used cheaper H&R Block.
5) In my opinion CC caters to poor and/or desperate people.
6) When I called the guy told me for one thing I wasn't getting $6000 back. Duh! Very insulting that he said that.
7) The advertising should imply that they are the home of the $2000 -$6000 tax advance.
I would like to see their advertising changed so other people will not overspend to get a speedy tax refund.

Dear Ms. M:

We are in receipt of your complaint filed with the Revdex.com dated February 4, 2019 and received by our office on February 14, 2019. I have reviewed your complaint with the assistance of Jonathon B, District Supervisor. Mr. B spoke with you over the phone on Monday afternoon, February 18, 2019 regarding your concerns with your tax filing experience. Mr. B also spoke with your tax preparer for clarification on the situation. Following his conversations with both yourself and the tax preparer, Mr. B feels there was a misunderstanding about the way the tax advance works. We have used this experience as a training tool on best practices for communicating the tax advance process. We certainly value your business as our customer and do not want you to feel misled, so Mr. B offered a refund of $100.00 of your tax preparation fees, which you accepted from the branch on Tuesday morning, February 19, 2019. We hope that you will consider our tax preparation services again next year.

Respectfully,

Ellen M. H

Harassment. I have been harassed on my job and at my place of home. I need this to stop. Just because I'm behind on a bill doesn't give the right for this coming to keep harassing me like they do. I can lose my job behind them. I need the harassment to decease.
