This account is not correct and I have tried several times to tell this company this information with no acknowledgement. This company has a faulty debt from Raleigh Foot and Ankle that is incorrect. My insurance paid everything that was due on this bill and I have verified this several times. I am trying to purchase a home with my wife and I am seeing this collection on here which is hindering my ability to do so. I am a retired police officer just trying to make things right with my wife and family. Nobody has ever owned a home in my family and we are trying to change that. I live on disability from check to check so my money is very tight but I do pay bills when I owe them and this is one that is incorrect. In fact I also have (1) violation of the FCRA in which this information was shared without my approval with a third party which is a direct violation of the order. I seek no restitution other than simply having this collection removed from all credit files and a letter sent to me stating that this has been done. I humbly await a reply and hope that you see fit to settle this matter.Desired SettlementI humbly request that you remove this item from all credit agencies in an attempt to let my family and I purchase a home to grow old in. On the 10th of June 2014 I Paid a Debt on my Credit in the amount of $1,230.00 in full. As I was on Active Duty your representative told me that since I had paid in full the total amount the debt would be cleared from my credit report by the end of the month. I have tried to apply for a home loan since august and the lender has told me that the total balance of $1,230.00 is still in debt on my credit report. So I can not receive a home loan until it is cleared off my Credit Report. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act the balance of the paid debt should be posted as a $0.00 but on my credit report it is still posted in the full amount of $1,230.00. It can take the credit bureaus anywhere from 30 - 90 days to update an account once we put in a request. While we are waiting for the credit bureaus to update your credit file we could send you a letter stating that the account has been paid and that we have requested for it to be removed.I apologize for the issues you have had getting through on the phone. Received notice of past due medical bill not covered by insurance, paid in full, after payment posted, CFS reported account to Credit Bureau. Received notice from CFS of account balance. After researching with insurance company, deductible met but not enough funds in HSA. I paid account in full (199.84)with check [redacted] CFS received check, cashed check which cleared on August 7th and after the fact reported account as a collection account to credit bureau. The account was paid in full before reporting it as a collection account with bureau.Desired SettlementI am requesting that the collection account be completed deleted from my credit report. Credit Financial Services Inc. damaged my credit because this business placed my account for collection with the credit reporting agencies. Credit Financial Services Inc. explained they lost the paperwork from Select Finance Services Inc. I explained I paid Select Financial Services, Inc. the full balance. I paid a processing fee and fax received and sent payment to Select Financial Services for Regional Emergency Physicians. I called Credit Financial Services and I explained I paid the balance in full. If Credit Financial Services want a copy of the paid paperwork. It will cost them a processing fee and fax received and sent fee because it is not my responsibility to pay for lost paperwork in Credit Financial Services business. The Credit Financial Services Business representative refused to pay processing fee and she refused to remove from credit report.Account_Number: XXXXXDesired SettlementI want removed from credit reports. I want processing fee and fax received and sent fee if they want a copy of paperwork. It is only fair. I paid a fee for my paperwork. They should pay a fee for their paperwork.
