these people are terrible!!! I understand I have a debt to pay but they are completely harassing me and my family! I have been in contact with them and yet they keep leaving messages at my parents home when I haven't lived at home since They are threatenting to take me to court when I have tried to set up arrangements with them and when I called them this morning their representative that I spoke with was so rude and hung up on me while I was talking not being ugly or yelling I was talking and he hung up on me I called back to tell him that was very unprofessional and he actually said " I felt the conversation was over so I said good luck in court and hung up" what a jerkI told him I had more to say and that if his company continued to harass my family I would file a formal complaint he then told me that they were a multi billion dollar corporation and if I wanted to go against them then go ahead and trySo I am filing a formal complaint and will be placing yet another call to this company for his supervisor

Please take this letter as response to said complaint
Nearly all of Ms*** statements are true,she was contacted by our corporation and she did set up payments to pay back said debtShe also mentioned that *** ***/*** *** settled a law suit in New York for loans that
were charged excessive interest ratesThis was brought to our attention after the fact.Although Ms*** believes she may owe no money on this account,she truly doesShe may have read the article wrong as the law suit clearly indicates that it will only collect on the principal balance that she originally borrowed and that they will not collect any interest on said loansMs.*** sent our office a copy of the article that she read and she highlighted;
"The complaint will cease all collections from New York consumers" but chose to leave out the rest of the sentence that clearly says "who have paid more than the principal of the loan,and cease all collections of INTEREST from all New York consumers
Ms.*** needs to understand that she did borrow the money and that we are only Interested In collecting the principal balance and not any interest per the settlement agreement between *** *** and New York State.We will make the adjustments and be happy to go over them with her
I have left a message with Ms*** to try and resolve and we are awaiting her call backOnce we make contact we will be happy to explain in detail and see if there is a resolution we can come up with

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I do not agree with Credit Recovery Group's response. This is because the New York State [redacted] has set up a funds administrator to handle all of [redacted]'s claims through this settlement. I have been in contact with the [redacted] Funds Administrator's customer service representatives. As of today, my claim is still being processed by them. Therefore, I do not want to proceed with making any arrangements with Credit Recovery Group until my claim has been reviewed by the Funds Administrator and they direct me with what to do next.In addition, according to this [redacted] Settlement, any negative credit reporting should be removed. I just want to be certain this has been done and that Credit Recovery Group is not reporting my [redacted] account negatively.
