My company contracted Mr.[redacted] company to shoot a commercial for us that was never produced and he continues to lie about refunding my money.On 4/16/15 we signed an agreement with [redacted] and his company for them to produce an advertisement commercial for our company. A 50% deposit was made by wire on 4/17/15. After a month of asking for updates on the progress, nothing definitive being said and [redacted] always putting the blame on some unnamed individual, we terminated the contract on 5/18/15. [redacted] agreed it was unprofessional business and confirmed the termination by email. We requested a wire refund, which [redacted] refused. He said he would mail a check out that week. On 5/31/15 we requested the status of delivery of our check, as it had not yet been received. [redacted] once again put it off on some unnamed person and said a new check would go out that week. On 6/4/15 [redacted] faxed a copy of a check to our office as his "proof" that one had been written. He said he would again send a new check out that week. On 6/12/15 I requested a tracking number for the check that was supposedly mailed. [redacted] said it was not sent certified and actually not sent at all yet, but that it indeed would be and sent certified and he would provide the tracking that Monday. On 6/16/15 I asked again for the tracking number he promised and got this response, "I have not in no way forgotten about you and what I promised I am making sure that the funds are cleared and are good before sending a new draft out, I have had to terminate 2 staff members for inappropriately handling business funds from the business account , and I will not in anyway issue a check to a business associate be it past or present and I can not stand behind the funds or the check issue, I do apologize for the warping of your patience , in the length of time this matter has took to be resolved . however I want to make sure this matter is satisfied with certified funds payable to You." To this day we have not received payment back, and don't honestly believe [redacted] intended to make the commercial he was paid for, or to return the money he took from my company. I have given him more than enough chances to repay us in more than a fair amount of time and he has repeatedly lied and deceived us. Desired SettlementI would love the refund we deserve and have been promised for the last 2 months. Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]Dear Revdex.com We have Notified Mr and Mrs [redacted] that we do acknowledge and are making urgent arrangements to refund the entire amount due for their refund , and we sent a written request and notification explaining that we would need additional time to make sure the funds are certified so that we could avoid further delay I also would like to point out this complaint arose from Mr and Mrs [redacted] , refusing to allow the ample time needed to prepared a well written srcipt and turned down the pre draft scripts sent to them by email for their review , all he kept stating he wanted the commercial done Fast , without allowing time for sript preperation and rehearsal before taping his complaint is without merit and done in a hasty fashion . Without allowing 4 to 6 weeks as we had notified him to complete the video commercial /production/ script CRES SERVICES Consumer Response We did not refuse ample time for a commercial to be produced. When my company approached CRES SERVICES it was made very clear that we needed something produced quickly and if we needed to go elsewhere that would be fine, but Mr.[redacted] assured us he could pull it off. The "script" that was sent was very unprofessional with spelling and grammatical errors and looked like it had been thrown together in 2 minutes. We didn't complain much about it not getting done, although upset- we just wanted our money returned in a timely fashion and Mr. [redacted] agreed. He is a very pleasant and nice guy to talk to however his business handling is very unprofessional. We have been told, as shown in my original statement, for an excessive amount of time that "urgent arrangements" are being made to refund our money, however that has not happened. We agreed to additional time to refund our money and then notified Mr. [redacted] once again with a week's notice to refund our money on 6/29/15 before any complaint or action was taken on our end. In summary, my complaint is not about the commercial, rather refusing to refund our money that is owed us in a professional and timely manner.
