Review: on April ** 2013 I paid Credit smart LLC $1,192.15 for a [redacted] bill . I have not received my letter saying that the bill was paid in full. Now I am receiving phone calls from another collection company for the same bill saying when I paid Credit smart LLC they scammed me and I still need to pay the bill!Desired Settlement: I would like the $1,192.15 refunded to me so that the money can go to pay [redacted] like it was supposed to OR I would like the letter that Credit smart LLC Paid [redacted] and that the debt is free and clear!

Review: This agency contacted me approximately 2 years ago and told me that I had a sopenia a against me for a capitol one credit card. I have never had a credit card before only a debit card that runs through my personal checking account. They had me scared and upset with the threats of a wage attachment and going to court so I agreed to pay the bill. I agreed to pay $50.00 a month. They took the first payment of $25.00 from my checking account on 7/**/2012. The next payment of $50.00 was processed on 8/**/2012 and continued until 1/**/2014. I paid a total of $975.00 to this company. The reason I am not paying this anymore was for the fact that I was contacted by another company on 3/*/2014 saying that I has fraudulent activity against my name and social security number when I talked to them they told me that they were trying to collect the same debt. The name of the company was Credit Smart,LLC but, then changed to Credit Star Finance, LLC...Desired Settlement: I would like to have my money back and I do not want contacted by this company again..

Review: Credit smart llc contacted me about a bill that I need to pay. I was paying on a payment plan we had agreed upon. One day when I call to make a payment, I found that the number is no longer in service, I payed about 150 dollars to this company so I would not go to court to duke it out with sprint. I find it fishy when things like this happen. I would like for someone to do a full investigation on this company and if they are a fraud, I would want my money back. I do have bank statements to when I payed them this money. Please someone help me get to the bottom of this. Review: I have been paying a debt through this company for 2 years now, and I received a call from another collector who has been told to resolve my issue. I have payed this debt and they are failing to report it to the company. Now I am being charged by 2 companies for the same debt! I have no longer received any correspondence from this company.Desired Settlement: I would also be free from this debt that I have paid.and that the business to be verified . And no longer be contacted by any more collectors about this debt!

Review: I was contacted by this company in July-August two years ago in regards to a debt my husband had with them. They told me everything that was going on, which I later found out is against the law, and they threatened him with jail time and garnishment if we did not pay $6000.00 to them for a Discover Card he had. I was able to settle with them for $2,9991.04. They took my money and still have not sent me a letter stating the debt was settled. Now, two years later, I am being called from a different company looking for that same debt! I am beyond furious because I had looked them up prior to paying and saw that they were a legitimate collection agency, and now I am realizing that I paid $3,000.00 to a SCAM!Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund on what I paid them, and ask that they never contact me or my family again!

Review: I was told I have an old debt, and then switched to a differnt caller explained that he was a lawer and he was going to sue me on behalf of old debt and that if I could not work out an agreement they would sue me so I settle account for three hundred dollars. That was august [redacted] 2011 I recived a recipt and agreement via email I currently still have emails. I was contacted on sept * of this year, I was contacted by a diffrent company and the tried the same attempt to collect the same debt in the same way with a switch caller to an attorney who threatened to sue. I told him I paid this debt and he said that he would need proof, I told him I wasent playing games with him and hung up I belive that I was scammed by creddit smart.Desired Settlement: Refund-Credit Card Credit

Review: Smart Credit called my cell phone number on Christmas eve, told me who they were and demanded payment on a old debt that I know was over 7 years old. My parents wernt home and I couldnt talk with them about it, the lady.....DEMANDED MONEY or they were filing a LAWSUIT......WAS extremely demanding threatening and I explained I wanted to talk to my dad and get back to her, she did not take that answer...she drilled me untill I gave her my debt card and numbers, and she took debt 300 bucks that instant from my account and set up monthly 300 dollar payments..I tried to explain I have not received and correspondence from them on the debt, but she said they sent it to me.. I recently moved and didnt receive the forward mail

account US BANK CLOSED ACCOUNT I believe its illegal for the manner in which she demanded, and the account was already past 7 years statue of limitations

they took a total of 600 bucks from my account, and after I demanded a statement again, I still have no statement from them. as of today July [redacted] 2014, of Credit smartDesired Settlement: FULL settlement of US BANK account, an apology

They took 600 dollars from my account by lies, extortion THREATS, it scared the crap out of me

Review: They called in 2011 and provided me with details about a debt with us banks they provided me with the bank information as well as some information about my self well here recently I received a call from a debt collector informing me I was going to be sued I was hit with shock being I paid this debt in 2011 so I asked this gentleman for a name and number and explained everything to him he was nice enough to give me some time to do some home work I contacted my attorney which is also involved in this matter and he ran a chain of title for me come to find out credit smart is no where in the chain of title so I paid a company that had no right to my hard earned money and has my personal information name ss number and I am a bit concernedDesired Settlement: I would like the immediate return of my money and I would like them investigated for fraud,ID Theft,

Review: They contacted me as a collections representative of US Bank, I made payment in full of $553.++ to clear up my account with US Bank... I am receiving phone calls now from another collection agency that says Credit Smart was not a legitimate company and I have been scammed out of my money and in addition, I still owe them... Now I have to cancel my new account... change my direct deposit... and have all my automatic payments updated with every company I deal with... very upsettingDesired Settlement: I want my money back so that I can pay off the debt I had intended it to be used for...
