Over a year ago, I started the process of bankruptcy with this company. I have pay them over $900 and my bankruptcy still has not been processed.
Over a year ago, I started the process of bankruptcy with this company. I have pay them over $900 and my bankruptcy still has not been processed. I have been in contact with Vicki A, the company's lawyer, several times to confirm the status of my case. When I last spoke with her in March, she advised that I should be receiving paperwork in the mail to finalize my case and still nothing. Now, I am unable to contact Vicki at all. Over the last year, it was been nearly impossible to contact Vickie. She doesn't answer the phone and takes days to weeks to return my calls.

Desired Outcome

I would like my case to be finalized or I would like to receive a full refund, as I have not been provided with the services that I paid for.

Dear Ms.:

This letter serves to confirm that I am in receipt of the complaint that has been filed referencing ***, complaint number *** and hereby refute the allegations contained herein and hereby provide the sequence of events with regards to this case.

Mr. *** retained our office on 4/19/2020 and after reviewing his current financial situation he wanted to explore a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.

Mr. paid his account in full and he had a scheduled appointment on May 3, 2019 in our office so that I could prepare his case file prior to meeting the attorney. As a Licensed Paralegal I work with our attorney to start preparing Mr. to meet with one of our attorneys.

On May 25, 2019, I met personally with the Mr. and completed the Debt Analysis and pulled his credit reports and prepared him to meet with our attorney to proceed with the Bankruptcy case filing.

The ordinary course of proceedings are once the client meets with me, I prepare a folder with all detailed information and documentation that is required by the Federal Court and also the attorney information. The client is well informed that he must gather all relevant documentation, complete a counseling course and then contact the attorney to schedule an appointment to commence the filing of his case. Mr. received said folder with all documentation to contact the lawyer and follow through with filing of his case. (Attached hereto is the information given to him at the time of his appointment).

That on May 15, 2020 I confirmed with our attorney Kim P, Esquire that Mr. still had not come in to file his Bankruptcy. Now after Covid-19 our office is closed to the public. However, Mr. can still call the our office or the attorneysâ?? office to make an appointment and move forward with his Bankruptcy. (See copy attached hereto for your review).

Lastly, I have not heard from the Mr. since the last meeting in our office. Moreover, I am perplexed as to why it has taken him this long to reach out to our office concerning this matter. Prior to Covid-19; our office clearly indicate to all our clients, that if they have any communication problems that we have â??open door policyâ? and they can-at any time come into the office regarding his concerns or issues they may be experiencing. Therefore, I hereby refute his allegations that he repeatedly contacted me and that I did not respond.

Please be advised that our office is more than willing to ensure that he gets an appointment with the attorney. He has the information and I have attached same as noted above for him to call the Law Office of Kim P and schedule an appointment to complete his case filing. If he has any questions or needs any assistance at all, I am here to assist him in any way.

I trust this information is sufficient for your review and consideration and I hope that this will resolve the issue in this case.

This place is very inexperienced. I am still trying to fix issues that I paid membership for them to help me fix. Issues that could have been resolved during my membership period. The paralegal there Vicki *** acts like an attorney, but she is not very knowledgeable, and will only hold off on fixing your issues until it's two late. I have years of emails of unanswered emails and missed appointments and deadlines. In fact, the last time I met with her, she instructed me to wait for something to become a "fire" and put things out one at a time. Well a year after my membership with them has expired, I have come in to many more credit and financial issues, that could have been resolved if Vicki responded to emails and phone calls, or maybe she could have informed me that she was not well-versed enough to resolve my issues. I have experienced tax liens, student loan charge offs and more all from waiting on her to HELP ME! Yes it's my fault for putting all my eggs in her basket, but I paid for membership with a guarantee, and did not receive the total service that I paid for. Stay away from this place and find experienced attorneys or other professionals to help you with your issues. I am currently working with a real attorney who has informed me of many more of my rights than Vicki was able to. All she'll do is complete one action, and then refuse to follow up...please take heed.

Organization did not produce service promised for credit repair issue. I was able to call the creditor and re-negotiate a more feasible arrangement.
On Thursday, October 5, 2017 I met with Mr. T for a consultation, I had a follow up on Sat October 7, 2017 to bring the payment for services. On October 5, 2017, Mr. T reviewed one account and spoke privately with his paralegal and verbally guaranteed that his Paralegal Ms. A could negotiate my account by 60% with a six month repayment plan. I agreed and I requested the offer in writing. Mr. T declined but did assure me that worst case scenario that because of the relationship with the debt collector he could guarantee a minimum of 50% reduction with a six month repayment plan. Mr. T required full payment for services in advance. I was very uncomfortable with that arrangement but I was under a very short time frame to settle with the creditor. So I paid for the service because Mr. T reassured me and verbally guaranteed results and would have a contract by Tuesday, October 10, 2017. I didn't hear from Mr. T so I called him on Wednesday October 11, 2017, he immediately transferred me to Ms. A. Ms. A immediately went into this spill about how she was unable to reach me via phone or email but confirmed the information I provided. Finally she admits she was unable to negotiate because she claimed she didn't have my social sec number and correct contact info. All of this info was provided to Mr. T during my initial consultation. I provided the info again and Ms. Alonzo said she would contact me. I never heard from her or Mr. T. I called back on October 17, 2017 and left a message for Mr. T. I didn't hear back until October 23, 2017 when I received a letter with the arrangement unlike the the promised one. The arrangement in the letter stated that the account was reduced from $1975.00 to $1475 with three payments of $ 492.00. I immediately called Mr. T and asked him about the original verbal guarantee he made to me when he accepted my payment. We had an exchange of words and I asked why was the check cashed before the arrangement was made and accepted by me. Mr. T was reluctant to provide an explanation other than their policy is to have full payment up front. Unfortunately this still left me in a bind because I could not afford the payment of $492 a month. On 11/15/17 when the first payment was due, I called the creditor and informed them of what had taken place with Credit Solutions Plus and I was unable to comply to the agreement, the creditor allowed me to make a more affordable payment arrangement of six monthly payments of $246. I would like a full refund of $175.00. Credit Solutions Plus did not make good on it's word. I feel that I was taken advantage of because I was in a desperate situation facing a court hearing for the debt. I am sure that I am not the only victim. I hope that other customers of Credit Solutions Plus and companies alike will come forward and stand up for their rights and stand up to companies like this that take of advantage of people that they claim they will help.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of $ 175.00 because I was able to do what they were not able to do. They were not honest or forth right. I would also like to request an investigation of the operation of this organization to ensure other people are not taken advantage of.
