Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
*** ***

We received your complaint today, Thursday 2/1/18. In response to your claim, I personally spoke with Mr*** on Monday morning around 8:AM. I told him that I was not sure what had changed with his credit report but we would certainly re-report it manually to the
bureaus in hopes that it would be resolved quicker than sending our mass semi-monthly electronic file. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me regarding this issue. Sincerely, *** ***

We mailed out an initial validation notice to Ms. [redacted] February 3, 2015.  That initial notice, which was NOT returned, states that they have 30 days to dispute the validity of the debt and after 30 days it may report to the credit bureau.  March 20, 2015 we mailed another collection...

notice reminding Ms. [redacted] of the outstanding debt, again this letter was NOT returned.  We tried to call the phone# we had on file and we spoke to a female on April 20, 2015 who told us we had the wrong phone#.  This account was sent to the credit bureau in April 2015.  We believe Ms. [redacted] was fully aware of the bill, since neither of our letters were sent back mail return. Our company policy is only to delete accounts that are truly reported in error. If Ms. [redacted] would like to contact me regarding this issue I would be willing to talk to her to get this resolved. Thank you,  [redacted]

Received complaint regarding Julie [redacted] claiming she has been receiving calls and hanging up. We do have business we need to discuss with the [redacted]’ and have made several attempts over themonths to make connect with them.  We have talked with her on a few occasions. The latest when...

we call them on 12/21/16 a female answered their phoneand would not Identify herself so we had no recourse but to end the call.  I find no evidence sheever called our office since 2013. Credit Systems will cease contacting them by telephone.  We do have business to discuss with her andshe should contact our office at her earliest convenience.  June [redacted]Credit SystemsVice President of Collections630 S Green Bay RDNeenah  WI  54956[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I had made payments which was for other accounts apparently?  After not receiving a letter for over a year I assumed it was taken care of.So your practice a a "collection agency" is not actually to attempt to collect a debt but rather to allow a debt to sit inactive for over a year with no action?
Regards,
[redacted]

I have paid the bill multiple times but never saved anything this time I save the check they sent back to me in Sept. Saying there is nothing owed. I received a statement 7 months later saying I owe. Called them told me they have no information on it. I said I had the letter and returned check then she sent me to another person. Basically blamed everyone plus said they have called many times and have been hung up on. Never happened lots of other untrue statements made.

After making several payments towards medical bills, I requested a copy of what they have done with my money and a time line of when these payments were reported to the credit bureaus. They refuse to provide me with any accounting and hang up when I try to get a superior. Terrible practice here and it should be reviewed. The abusive nature of their collection agents is unacceptable.

Review: These people continue to call and are extremely rude and insulting about a collection I do not owe. I have advised them with my attorney information as this is a workers comp issue. They claim the attorney says he doesn't represent me but when I talk to attorney he says they have never contacted him.

When I ask for supervisor I'm called names and hung up on.Desired Settlement: I don't want them to call at all, ever!!

Business

Response:

[redacted] has claimed this is a workers compensation claim. The

attorney information provided to us had indicated (attorney) that he does not

represent [redacted] In several recent conversations [redacted] has

been verbally abusive and used vulgar language. [redacted] account has

been ceased and he will not receive any further calls regarding this account.

Should he wish to contact me directly I can be reached at [redacted].

Review: I asked for a detailed summary of what the charges were for, was told I already knew what they were for by the employee named [redacted] who works for the collection company. She also called me at work twice after I had told the company not to call my work. Linda also told me payments under $25 could not be taken over the phone which I found out later was not true. She also claimed that it is against company policy to leave voice messages which is why she called my work numberDesired Settlement: Would like to see employee terminated. Questionable collection practices that I feel may require legal action.

Business

Response:

Please be advised this situation was discussed with [redacted] and the office

supervisor on 8/13/13 and resolved.

Review: I received a phone call about an outstanding bill. Person I talked to was [redacted]. I asked for the company name(s) that are trying to collect. She states that a statement was sent to my husband and that I should know about it because "we are married and they expect us to communicate." I told her it is illegal for me to open his mail, so unless it's addressed to me, I don't open it. She then says I am responsible for his debts because we are married. She asks me our wedding date. I don't feel this is relevant when she won't give me the name of the business(es) that say I owe them.

[redacted] says she will send a statement with my name on it. I did receive a statement, but it only states how much money they are trying to collect. $1,582. There is no businesses named. So now this is on my credit report and they are with holding the business(es) that claim I owe them. How do I know I actually owe this business or it's been paid off or they have the wrong person? They are unfairly causing my credit score to be damaged.Desired Settlement: A letter with my charges from the business(es).

If it has been paid off, prior to 7/31/14 (the date of the phone call) I'd like them to make a statement on my credit report that they made a mistake along with the date the bill(s) were paid. Their mistakes are going to cost me money later, that is very wrong.

I'd like a letter of proof for the credit report statement and an apology.

Business

Response:

In response to [redacted] complaint from 7/31/14, the collector was trying to determine [redacted] date of marriage to current husband [redacted], as to not disclose information to her that would be prior to marriage to her. If that date would have been provided to the collector she would have gladly gone through the list of clients and balance due to each client individually. Wisconsin is a marital property state and based on date of marriage would determine the charges [redacted] would be held responsible for.

The current charges totaling the $1582.00 are all due and owing to date. A list of accounts, along with Itemized statements for our clients have been sent to [redacted] as she requests. We attempted to contact her by telephone.

Credit Systems reports account balances over $50.00 to the credit bureau. Client verified [redacted] was spouse and mom to [redacted] (one of the charges are for her), so they are both equally responsible for the debt, and accounts would be reported and listed on both credit files. Credit Systems has accurately reported the accounts to the bureaus.

Sincerely,

Credit Systems of the Fox Valley, Inc.

Review: This organization has attempted annoying telephone calls to my home, most recently on 9/16/2013.Desired Settlement: If this organization has any brains, they understand the words "CEASE AND DECIST" of any and all types of attempted further communication. Failure to abide by this directive will result in violation of civil and consumer protection laws of Wisconsin. The Federal Trade Commission will also be notified of any like lapses in judgment.

Business

Response:

Please be advised [redacted] has not notified us in writing or verbally

to cease communication with him. We had a single conversation with him in

February 2013. Pursuant to this letter we will cease his account.

Review: call my work, also does not provide what and for who any amount is do forDesired Settlement: do not call my work, provide what company amount us due for on writing and sent first

Business

Response:

We have ceased communication with Mr. [redacted] place of employment. Also, we have sent him a list of the bills here in collection including the information he was asking for.

Review: Stating that collection was for only $350. Repeated phone calls while at work informing them to stop calling at work. Repeat unethical behavior and refusal to have supervisor to state reasoning of debt now over $2950.16 supervisor named Stacy became disrespectful after requesting reasoning for debits. Stating "Are you going to write this down or complain about your bill." Stacy disconnected the call when calling back unable to make contact with them.Desired Settlement: I was contacted for $350 dollar bill no contact about other bills. I am willing to take responsibility for the bill that was sent to collections in which was $350 not the $2600.

Business

Response:

[redacted] called back after this conversation and received all pertinent information he requested. He will not be contacted at work per his request.

This company has been calling me non stop to try to receive money for a "unpaid bill". I have requested many times to see a copy of this bill. They are telling me they don't have the bill. I went to the original billing office to retrieve but they said they sent it to this company for collections. The last I heard from this company is that they will send this to court. There are no need for threats as I NEVER said I will not pay what I owe. I want to see the bill I am paying before I pay.

I called this company to resolve a collection that I wasn't aware of. I called the same day I received the letter. The woman was very rude and condisending. I felt like a criminal. You think they'd have better personalities for wanting money from you.
