Hello....thank you for your response. I have attached the additional information that you requested, including a copy of the notice, a copy of a letter that I sent to CCS, and a copy of my mother's POA. I left a message for CCS to call me and I also sent them a letter. They have
been NON-RESPONSIVE. Again, the *** equipment was returned to *** nearly a year ago. On at multiple occasions, *** has advised us that CCS has been notified that my mother owes NOTHING. It was thought that this was resolved last spring--once the equipment was located and returned (we couldn't find it--it was installed in the rafters in her basement). T Jhis bill has reappeared after MONTHS AND MONTHS of silence. Thank you for your help with this. *** ** ***, POA for*** *** *** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the...

response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Have not been reimbursed yet, as the general manager suggested. As this case moves forward and after I encountered a little bit of a resistance on the part of the service manager reimbursing me for the full amount I initially asked to be reimbursed, I, willingly, said that I'd be OK with half of that. Being OK with the outcome is just not the same as being satisfied. I am not neither in possession of a check at this time nor my credit card was credited. The establishment should let me know when the check would be available for me to pick up and, YES, I'm OK with half of it.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  It is noted, however, that this was resolved in 2014, with no further contact from CCS until the bill resurfaced again in 2015.  Based on the current written confirmation that the billing matter was resolved in 2014 and there was no adverse credit reporting, the response is accepted as resolved.

In response to complaint [redacted] we have attached an itemized statement of the charges in question confirming a balance of $ 108.37 due from the consumer.  While a payment reflects from the insurance company, there is no health savings payment reflected from the consumer..  If the...

consumer will provide proof of payment, we will be happy to forward it to our client for further research.  Our records indicate the account was placed with us on 8.19.14 and a notice was mailed to the consumer at [redacted] with no notice of mail being returned.  Numerous calls were made by our office from 8.20.2014 to 1.26.2015 with messages left and no record of calls returned.  We also have no record of receiving the consumer's letter disputing the account.  Per the dispute with the Revdex.com, we have now marked the account as disputed and notified our client of such.  Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.Thank you,[redacted]President

We are in receipt of complaint ID [redacted] regarding an account placed with our agency in August 2009 in the amount of $ 81.80 by our client.  Once the account was placed with our agency we made more than 50 attempts to collect including several in which we spoke with the consumer regarding...

payment of the account and was promised payment on more than one occasion. On 11.3.14, the consumer contacted our office stating he found this account on his credit record and paid it in full to our agency by credit card.  He requested the collection specialist provide fax him a receipt and notification that the credit bureau was contacted o mark the account accordingly.  As is protocol, the collection specialist notified our administrative offices to provide the consumer with the requested information.  Our administrative representative notified the credit bureau timely but did not mail the receipt that day to the consumer.  She then became ill and was off for an extended period of time due to illness.  The lady covering her work did not realize that the receipt had not been faxed and did not follow through.  Once the Revdex.com notified our office, we immediately and successfully faxed a receipt and provided the consumer with the credit bureau AUD # confirming the consumer's request.  Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thank you, ** [redacted] President

In response
to complaint [redacted], our records indicate that the account with [redacted]
[redacted] was received in our office on 7/2/14 in the amount of $44.56 for
service and $63.18 for equipment.  Permission to speak with the
consumer's daughter was not given by the consumer, nor was a POA received
in our office until 3/2/15 .  Upon receipt of the Revdex.com complaint on
2/28/15, CCS contacted [redacted]s regarding the balance owed. [redacted]
responded today, 3/6/15, advising CCS that the service was paid in full on
7/3/14 and the equipment was returned on the same day. We have marked our
records accordingly and there will be no further contact with the consumer, nor
has this been reported negatively on her credit. We apologize for any
inconvenience this has caused. Please let me know if I can be of further
assistance.
Thank you,

Called the office to obtain information on an outstanding bill, which I did not know I had from a doctor's office. I was polite when I called and asked how I could take care of the payment suggesting maybe I could pay over the phone since I no longer live in Sheboygan. The lady that answered was very flippent,"No we do not accept payment over the phone, only checks, cash or cashier checks. So when can you come in and pay this?" Again, I do not live in Sheboygan and need this cleared as soon as possible as I was not made aware of this outstanding bill and it is hindering the re-finance of my current home. "Well you need to take care of this now and when can I expect you in." Obviously, customer service is not her forte nor is kindness. I said I would have a family member drop off the payment. Again, "When can I expect the payment." in her rudest, mean voice. I explained, I would need to touch base with my family to see when they could bring in the payment. She further negatively expressed that I would need to pay a $20 fee for their attorney to satisfy the judgment with the clerk of courts. This is not true! You can go to the clerk of courts and file the satisfication of judgment yourself for $5. So I explained, I could do that myself and I thanked her for her time.

The day after Thanksgiving, I called to make sure they were open prior to driving to Sheboygan and spoke with my rude friend again. Sure we are open until 5pm. I got to the office between 1:35& 1:40pm knocked on the door as it was locked with two cars in the parking lot and no one answered the door. So I walked over to the East side of the building to see if anyone was in the office then slipped on the ice hidden under the snow dusting. I called the office 6 times before leaving without anyone answering. Needless to say, I was not able to pay my bill but also broke my IPhone and bruised my knees due to their negliance.

I would highly suggest never contacting these people, just send your payment in the mail. Give the payment 5 days to be received then call as they are just RUDE people.

Review: This company is still reporting an un-validated debt that I have asked several times in the last year for them to remove it. They are in violation of several FCRA AND FDCPA LAWS. They were being represented by an attorney [redacted], address [redacted], Who was also notified by written notice on Jun 19, 2015. That the reporting of this debt was in violation of several FDCPA and FCRA regulations. Plus on my credit report, Creditors Collection Services, Inc is stating that they are reporting within FCRA guidelines, which they are NOT, because they have failed to provide accurate Validation of the account.Desired Settlement: I want this account immediately and permanently removed from all three credit bureaus and not reported again at a later date.

Review: Currently have active extended fraud alert and ID theft victim alerts on all 3 credit files(Equifax, Transunion and Experian) that began on April 10, 2007 and expires in 2014. Just checked my credit files and have new incorrect information reported. I have been a victim again. I have submitted a complaint via FTC.gov and submitted a new ID Theft Affidavit to all three credit bereaus within the past 10 days and disputed the all the incorrect information on credit files including this account, addresses, social security numbers, etc that has been falsely used. I have also submitted debt validation letters including to this company. I have a negative item on my credit reports from this company that is not mine and I want removed ASAP before I proceed with legal action. I fully aware of my rights with the FTC, FCRA, FDRA, etc. I want all negative information removed/deleted from all 3 credit files within 30 days. Collection shows for $35Desired Settlement: removal of negative info from credit reports

Response:

CCS is aware of the potential identity theft case for the accounts in question. All major Credit Bureaus have been notified by CCS to delete due to potential identity theft case. The Creditors are requesting a copy of the identity theft case report as well as copy of signature for verification. CCS has placed a hold on all accounts until the case is resolved.

In response to complaint [redacted], upon receipt of the account our office notes indicate a letter mailed to this consumer on 4.03.13 at the address listed. This notice was not returned to our office. On 4.05.13 our staff member spoke with this consumer and agreed to hold the account off of his credit record providing the account be paid in 90 days. Consumer would not agree to pay plan and on 5.7.2013, account was reported to the credit bureaus. As requested by the consumer, our agency agrees to remove the account from this consumer's credit record providing payment in full is received in our office by 5.31.2013. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Sincerely,P. YoungPresident

The charge was incurred over 6 months ago and placed with agency the beginning of April 2013. The consumer was given the opportunity to pay in 30 days once the account was placed with our agency but did not comply. We will agree to hold until June 30, 2013, however, if payment in full is not received in our office at that time we will not be able to remove the account from this consumer's credit record.Thank you,P. Review: The company is trying to collect from me on behalf of [redacted]. This bill was for a service rendered to me by [redacted] in 2014, which was paid in full to the service provider (partly by my health insurance company [redacted] and my portion by me through my health savings account). Later I received a collection letter from Creditors Collection Services stating I have an unpaid balance, and if I wish to dispute the balance, I have 30 days to respond to them in writing. I went ahead and sent them a letter explaining my dispute, along with a copy of their initial letter to me. I did not hear anything back from them. I also called [redacted] to ensure the entire bill was paid, and they had confirmed I had no dues and the letter was possibly an error. Recently, I was applying for a bank loan, and the bank declined my application stating I have two medical debts on my credit report.........(the second debt also happens to be from [redacted], but with a different Collection company). Creditor Collection Services has not only NOT reviewed my dispute, but have also reported this to the credit bureaus as a revolving trade line (like a default credit card debt that keeps getting worse every month). My credit score has dropped from 820 to 677 in the past 4 months they have been reporting it. My credit is terribly affected due to [redacted] and Creditors Collection Services messing up at their ends, and no one bothering to fix their mistake!!!!Desired Settlement: Creditors Collection Services must immediately delete this charge showing up as a delinquent debt from all the credit bureaus, and fix my credit score back to where it was (in the 820+ range FICO). They should also not try to collect money from someone when money is not owed. Sometime it is really not their mistake........all these medical service providers never have their billing records in order because they even outsource their billing services. But, that's not my problem to solve. I have received service, and have paid the provider in full.

Review: When I received the notice of collections I notified this business that I was disputing the amount that THEY said I owed. I also included copies of the last bill that I received from [redacted] stating what I owed along with the payment. I contacted the customer service rep who stated that they received my dispute but did not have my check and refused to contact [redacted] in regards to the discrepancy of the amount owed. I paid the amount that I owed through there website. Today, I've received notice that this collection agency had placed a collection on my credit report for $13.00!! I never received any other correspondence from them.Desired Settlement: I will be contacted the credit bureau immediately to ensure that this does not remain on my credit!

Business

Response:

Our collection staff have reviewed the complaint regarding the $13.00. This remaining amount was a collection fee attached to the [redacted] bill due to late payment. The collection fee has now been adjusted off and is no longer listed on the consumer's record.Thank you,CCS

Regards,

Review: I was getting in contact with them to talk about a bill. I got the customer service representative, who was very rude, discourteous, inconsiderate, bad-mannered, and disrespectful. I was trying to explain the situation that I was faced with and she cut me off and offered no help to the situation. I then asked to speak with her manager. She told me "we are in a call center and she's in a meeting" so I told her to give me her voicemail. Her tone was very nasty. I later spoke to the manager she offered a solution, but she never mentioned about the rudeness I encountered with the customer service representative.Desired Settlement: I just want them to know that there is nothing wrong to offer an apology for rude behaviors and manners. I do not think that when you are asking someone for their money that they work hard for, you should ever consider being rude.

Business

Response:

In response to the above complaint, I have spoken with the collection specialist involved. It was her understanding that the consumer was upset with our client for placing the account with our collection agency/ She was also upset that they had added a collection fee as agreed to by the consumer in her conditions of admissions form should the account become past due. Our notes indicated that the collector agreed to keep the account from being placed on the credit record, however, was not authorized to forgive the collection fee. The consumer expressed dissatisfaction with this solution and requested to speak with a manager. The manager later called her and arranged a pay plan, apologized, and spoke with the collection specialist to see if the conversation could have been handled a better way. The collection specialist involved has been with our agency for several years and is a certified collector with no violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. As the owner of the agency, I sincerely apologize for any disrespect shown to the consumer and have addressed the situation with both the collector and the manager. Thank youP. YoungPresident

Regards,

Review: In November of 2013 I got a bill from Cox Cable of $400 and some dollars. December 31,2013 I turnedin a piece of equipment, and wrote a check of $175.00 which gave a -0- balance, with no late fee orany other fees due. Janurary 2014 I had on my credit report, a past due bill of $489.72, I calledCox Cable, they told me I did not owe anything, for me to contact Creditors Collectio Service. I have called both parties back and forth number of times. I received a letter from the collectionservice, of a bill for $38.77 dated March 20, 2014, which Cox Cable has told me I do not owe any amount to them. I need to know why Creditors Collection Service keeps saying there is a balance and Cox Cable don't have a balance of any amount. Either Cox Cable or Creditors Collection Servicehas reported this to Equifax. One or both needs to contact Equifax and have it taken off since itis still showing up on my credit report.Desired Settlement: Just take it off of my credit report and restore my credit.

Business

Response:

In response to ID [redacted] collection issues, we were notified by our client, Cox, on 3.18.14 that a payment in the amount of $ 198.69 for services was paid directly to their office on 12.31.13. They also notified us on 3.18.14 that the equipment in the amount of $ 252.26 was returned on 12.31.13. The current balance of $ 38.77 represents a collection fee due from the consumer as a result of the account being placed with a collection agency. As per our agreement, Cox requires a collection fee be added to any accounts placed with CCS for collection. However, in lieu of the confusion, Cox has advised us to write off the collection fee. We have also notified all credit bureaus to remove these charges from the consumer's credit record. Please let me know if you have additional concerns or if I can be of more help.

Response:

In response to Complaint Id [redacted], our records indicate this account was placed with us for collection by our client on 12.17.12. On 7.27.15 the consumer paid the account in full. On 7.28.15 we notified all credit bureaus to mark the account paid in full and delete from his credit record. CCS is not a credit reporting agency and while we notify all credit bureaus to mark the account paid in full and delete, we cannot actually do so ourselves. We must rely on the credit bureaus to complete the transaction. on 8.28.15 we faxed a letter to [redacted] per the consumer's request stating the account was paid in full. We apologize for any inconvenience experienced by the consumer.Thank you,P. [redacted], President
