Mr. [redacted] came into shop on January 17th because of paint peeling on passenger side pillar above the rear door. [redacted] one of our estimators took photos of the spot. After checking original repair order from 04-17 which showed that we...
painted the hood and the roof only. This did not include the door pillar. The area that is peeling is not where we painted. We have looked at the estimate Mr. [redacted] was given for painting the peeling area and have discounted it from $359 to $214.40 which would be for painted the right side pillar. We do apologize for any confusion that Mr. [redacted] experienced because of this. We do have pictures available that would show what we are talking about Thank you

Thank you for your quick response to this issue.If I would have been told that there was a difference between the "roof" and a door pillar I would have had them paint the "door pillars".I am not a "car person" and did not know that there was a difference. I would have thought that they would inform the customer of something like this.This lack of communication is a definite issue. No return call is also a problem with this location.When I came into location on the 17th, I was told that they would call me back that afternoon and that never happened.I feel that their lack of communication is a issue and needs to be addressed.It was not confusion on my part.
