Haven't received replacement for recalled items that they have recieved back in December. Have failed to return phone calls regarding issue.I had to send in two 4' t8 led lamps to Cree due to a recall because of possibility of causing a fire. I promptly sent the items via fed-ex in the provided packaging provided in a timely manner by Cree. They have since received said items and have not shipped me replacements. I have contacted their customer service department numerous times in which no one I talked to had any idea why the items haven't shipped and said they would look into it and call me back and never did so. I have had to repeatedly call back in which case I get the same run around and told I would get a return phone call and have not received it until I spoke with an individual named [redacted]. He was good about doing what he could to try to resolve the situation. He assured me that my items would be shipped out on Wednesday 1/27/16. When I had not heard anything by Thursday 2/4/16 I called [redacted] back via the direct phone line he had given me prior and after making some calls and looking through his computer he said he had no idea why they had not shipped and would "make some calls and get back with me." I have tried to call back and have gotten no answer or return call so I once again called the customer service number and get the same run around. I am told "I will make some calls and call you back today." I do not get a call back and feel that I am just being ignored. This situation has been going on well beyond 9 weeks and is quite ridiculous. I am beyond dissatisfied with this company and their customer service. It is far below any form of standard I gave ever witnessed.Desired SettlementAn immediate overnight delivery of replacement items that I should have received many weeks ago or an immediate delivery of electronic gift certificate to my local home depot where I purchased the original items so I can buy new replacements of the same equivalency as the ones I purchased originally.Business Response Due to an IT system conversion in January, some refund payments were inadvertently delayed. Cree has identified the system error and is taking the necessary steps to process refunds in a timely manner. A refund check has now been processed for this customer, and it has been confirmed by FedEx tracking that the refund check was delivered on 2/22/16.Consumer Response After many MONTHS of delay I FINALLY received a refund. I will never again purchase any items from CREE as they cannot conduct bussiness in an appropriate manner.

Inferior and inadequate warranty substitutionsCree has been making inferior substitutions when I have sent in defective bulbs for replacement under their written warranty.In my most recent warranty request I specifically stated in my letter that a 4flow substitution would be unacceptable and I still received 4flow substitution. (You can track my latest warranty shipment at USPS XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.)The glass bulb is sold for $9.97 and comes with a 10-year warranty; the 4flow is sold for $7.97 and only comes with a 5-year warranty.To date, I've sent 4 defective glass bulbs to Cree for replacement and received four 4flow bulbs. I request that 4 glass bulbs beThe model of bulb replacement I want is the glass bulb Cree 60W Equivalent Soft White (2700K) A19 Dimmable LED Light Bulb.Desired SettlementAs stated above, please send 4 replacement GLASS bulbs, type Cree 60W Equivalent Soft White (2700K) A19 Dimmable LED Light Bulb. Do not send me any more 4flow bulbs for current or future warranty claims on glass bulbs.Business Response Cree acknowledges that it did, originally, send the customer a newer generation replacement bulb. We apologize for not sending the glass replacement bulb. This system error has been corrected, and the glass replacement bulb requested by the customer, Cree 60W Equivalent Soft White (2700K) A19 Dimmable LED Light Bulb, was shipped via UPS on 3/8/2016. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Inadequate warranty substitution from Cree.Dear Revdex.com,A few months ago I filed a complaint against Cree for inadequate warranty substitutions. When sending in my glass 60W warm white LED bulbs for replacement, I received cheaper plastic bulbs in return. The glass bulbs are still being produced by Cree so the substitution is solely for the purpose of short-changing the customer to minimize losses from warranty replacements. This is not acceptable.My previous Revdex.com complaint was (eventually) resolved after speaking with a rep named [redacted] who sent me the proper glass bulbs.In May I sent 4 more defective glass bulbs to Cree for replacement (these bulbs have had a very high failure rate). Just as I had done before, I noted in my letter to Cree that a plastic "4flow" bulb substitution would NOT be acceptable. On about 6/1 I received a replacement order delivered from Cree, but once again I received plastic bulbs.Since that date, I have been attempting to reach [redacted] again about this matter, but she is not answering her messages or returning my calls. So once again, I have to turn to the Revdex.com to have this matter settled.Desired SettlementAs stated above, please send 4 replacement GLASS bulbs, type Cree 60W Equivalent Soft White (2700K) A19 Dimmable LED Light Bulb. Do not send me any more 4flow bulbs for current or future warranty claims on glass bulbs.
