I purchased a house from nationwide homes in [redacted] back in June of is when it was setDuring this time the nationwide left and did not complete the job they left all sorts of construction materials in my yardThe ceilings were not finished the brick ledge was wrong and the roof still leaksThe gutter fell off the back of the houseThe walls show all the tape linesBaseboards was not painted and foundation was left exposedI have talked to [redacted] who said on numerous occasions he was going to come make it rightAll recorded conversationsMr [redacted] has yet to do thisI have left several messages recently with no responseMr [redacted] also went to the court and falsely filed a mechanics lien in the amount of nearly dollarsSeveral conversions with mr [redacted] I explained I did not owe that much and he has never produced signed change orders to show thisThey had a construction manager who is no longer with them doing some shady billing

Nationwide's construction quality is abysmal Their drywall work is horrible with very visible seams/joins Zero attempt is made at getting their ceilings and walls to be square Doors don't fit their door jambs and the list goes on They have ZERO quality control We have a baseboard that is quite curved because the underlying lumber isn't square...they drywalled right over that, making a curved wall and laid the baseboard over that, which is curved Plumbing is equally poor One bathtub has a waste/overflow pipe that misses its mark so badly that there is no seal to the tub so all water went down inside the walls Electric: They use absolutely junk electrical materials from Pass & Seymour Good luck getting some outlets to receive their plugs Customer support? None "Go talk to your builder, you bought the house from them." Okay, fair enough The builder also claims to have received the cold shoulder Mind you, they are the cause of most of these problems and expect the builder to fix factory defects We are talking about door plungers that miss their strike plates by over a 1/4-inch (too low, typically) so they don't latch...these are FACTORY HUNG DOORS! How do you miss that in the factory? Do yourself a favor Do NOT buy a Nationwide Home They clearly have a systemic issue in their construction methods and don't care about the product they turn out

We purchased our home in It was manufactured by Nationwide Custom Homes in *** ***There are bathrooms on the 1st floor of our home and both bathroom toilets interior plumbing have failedThe first time the contractor took care of itThis time it flooded our basement and ruined wallsWhen the emergency plumber responded and opened the wall he found a faulty fitting that was sealed with spray foam and not with plumbers tapeThe fitting also was cracked as the same as the first bathroom.I've contacted the county inspector and he advised that this does not pass code in Virginia

My husband and I signed contract to buy a home with Nationwide in March It was a year and months before we moved in and we're basically forced to close after promises were made for all of our "punch list items" to be completedThey were not and still have not be completed and as the months go on it continues to get worseIt was months from the time the house was set before we were able to move in yet signed contract with an understanding that it was be completed within days, or the company has to pay you, that DID NOT HAPPEN! The subcontractors ruined my hardwood floors by having all of their equipment sitting on it with no cover, never got fixed, one of the bathroom vanities have a chip and it was patched over and over like I'm too stupid to know even though I was told a new one would be orderedThe refrigerator was dented and upon request of a new one, they send me one about half the size, in which the food for my family of five would not even fit inSeams all in the
