First of all I do not understand what *** *** *** considers as hired Ms*** was referred to me because she received a notice from her employer that her wages were going to be garnished, because she had more than a $5,owed to the Franchise Tax Board Se needed to file
2007, 2008, and tax returns She received this notice from the Franchise Tax Board dated May, I was contacted by her and started working on her case in the last week of May At the time her wages were already going to be garnished by her employer Motel I prepared years of tax returns, 2007, 2008, and and I was able to get her wage garnishment stopped To this date I have received no payments from Ms***, and because the wage garnishment came back months later because she still owes state taxes to the Franchise Tax Board and has not made payment arrangements with them, I do not see how it would be my fault I think that months is long enough of a time to realize that you have done work, not been paid, and are therefore dealing with a deadbeat Why would I continue to talk or do anymore work for someone who asked for help received it and even acknowledges that work was done Show me one check or cash payment receipt There is none I guess she "hired" me for free, and I am supposed to keep her out of collections I have a copy of the letter the IRS sent to Ms*** in regards to the power of attorney, I think she should hire some help so they can explain to her what it says At no time have I ever not been a registered tax preparer with the IRS I am happy to hear that Ms*** has found tax help, but I am unaware of any amendments or errors that were made The state will continue to go after Ms *** until she files all of her tax returns and pays the amount in full Something she has never done with me At this point if I hear anything more about Ms *** and her problems I will be forced to pursue her in court for liable, and seek payment for services that were rendered So I would advise Ms*** that both my PTIN and CTEC number have always been valid with the IRS and Franchise Tax Board, this is a matter of public record, and if she persists in slandering my name, she will have to face more consequences I wonder when she plans on paying me for the time wasted trying to help her in her time of need, preparing years of tax returns, and having succeeded in reversing her garnishment for three months, but not talking to me but asking for more help, without any mention of compensation for work done I do not think any business would continue to serve Ms***, I know I will never do any business with her ever

I am rejecting this response because: Although I appreciate Mr. [redacted] attempt to save his "good name" in his business, it appears to be a situation of "he said/she said" and cannot be resolved with words. I will be happy to attach supporting documentation when my new preparer returns from vacation this next week. There was never a bill offered by Mr. [redacted]. In fact, his work on my returns was initially offered as a favor to me because he was referred to me from a co-worker of mine who is his good friend. After reviewing my return status and seeing that I was due to get money back, he made a passing comment about "not feeling bad about charging you now that you will be getting refunds from the IRS". He never stated an amount, or how he would collect any fees he would be charging. There are no receipts for payment because no bills were ever issued, no rates ever discussed and no commitments ever made on my part. I was simply told he would charge and take it from my returns AFTER he did the preliminary work. Because of my experience with him, which he directly contradicts, I feel no services were rendered therefor no money is owed. Any pursuit of collection will be challenged in any forum.  And now he threatens me with lawsuits, which feel like harassing statements. My new preparer has not only stopped all garnishments, but I am already receiving letters from the CAFTB stating my debt is paid in full due to proper tax filings taking place and all assessments by the CAFTB have been satisfied. I never received any such documentation during my waiting period with Mr. [redacted], just a new garnishment 6 months after the first with no explanation forthcoming.  Let me reiterate, I want nothing from Mr. [redacted]. I don't owe him anything either. I only wished for this matter to be addressed and to move on.
