Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The owner feels I should have known because I was not only a customer but an employeeI was not made aware in writting or verbally of a diagnosis, treatment plan or financial agreementMy only pet was not examined by the owner DrM***I was hired as an entry level vet assistant and was never trained in billing or allowed to make any type of diagnosisI was never given a price list as a customer or employeeThe original balance was $plus $interest and a monthly payment of $times months for a total of $I was offered payment plans which I had to decline because they were out of my budget and they added a 15% interest charge to increase my overall billI took my dog to them on my day off and left him thereI was not notified of anything until the next day when I went to work at my scheduled shiftThe work had already been doneThey were not sure why he was throwing up but did give me some medicine and told me to change his foodAs I have asked I would like this account removed from collections and considered paid in fullI feel they took advantage of meThey would not let me work but did not fire meThey kept sending me the employee schedule without me on it for weeks and then it just stoppedThey fired me "at will" and did not have any type of conversaton about that eitherThe office manager also threatened staff to take money from our payroll to pay our bills at the office without permission.Sincerely, [redacted]

*** *** was an employee with our company and she was familiar with every aspect of our hospital from billing to medical diagnosis and treatment She presented her animals to our hospital for treatment in the same way any other customer would have She was presented with a
suspected diagnosis, treatment plan, and estimate of costs were given verbally by various doctors and staff and approved by her on numerous occasions as her pets have received medical treatment numerous times at our facility Many months after her pets were successfully treated and her bill had still not been paid, she was given numerous options for payment including in hospital financial plans, out of hospital financial plans, and she declined all of them She has refused to pay us on account of her being a student with financial hardships Her bills have employee discounts applied and she still has failed to uphold her financial obligations to pay her bills Not having the money to pay a veterinary health bill is not a failure on the part of the business trying to recover payment for services The hospital treated her pets at her request and believes it should be compensated Due to the difficulty in receiving payment this account has been sent to collections and the business in question has done nothing but asked for compensation for agreed upon services

I was hired as an entry level vet assistant and was never trained in billing or allowed to make any type of diagnosis. I was never given a price list as a customer or employee. The original balance was $847.84 plus $127.18 interest and a monthly payment of $162.50 times 3 months for a total of $975.02 I was offered payment plans which I had to decline because they were out of my budget and they added a 15% interest charge to increase my overall bill. I took my dog to them on my day off and left him there. I was not notified of anything until the next day when I went to work at my scheduled shift. The work had already been done. They were not sure why he was throwing up but did give me some medicine and told me to change his food. As I have asked I would like this account removed from collections and considered paid in full. I feel they took advantage of me. They would not let me work but did not fire me. They kept sending me the employee schedule without me on it for 6 weeks and then it just stopped.
