In October of last year Mr. [redacted] called me and asked me to come out and estimate a few things around the house that needed to be repaired. [redacted] is a seasoned veteran and I thanked him for his service. First off I did not receive any text messages, however I did get a call from his wife and...
responded to that call by an unannounced visit. On that visit a company was there installing a HVAC system to prove that I was there. One of the items of his complaint was taking aluminum trim and trim two doors that had storm doors on them. I told [redacted] that all the exposed wood, (that the storm door didn’t cover) would be covered, now he claims that all the wood was to be covered. I can do that but there will be an additional charge of $225.00 to take those storm doors off and reinstall them after the wood is covered. The other item was to straighten out some aluminum veins in an attic vent that what looked like been hit with a basketball. In my visit there was two small bends if two of the vents. My men did the best they could to repair this vent without replacing it.My business and customers are a part of my life. I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This is [redacted] in regards to complaint number [redacted]. First off Mr Smith did not thank me for my military service. And I sent him three text messages at the text number he has on his contract "[redacted]". When those men where installing my furnace,that would have been a good time for Mr Smith to stop and see what I needed done. I was not holding those men's hand to make sure they were doing there job. And as far as the attic vent his men did not even try to fix it. And he is wrong about the wood "brick mold" around the to strom doors. His men put aluminium around the wood. The problem is the way the door's are hung. I would be glad to show him if he ever show's up. He need's to call before he comes. This is my phone number incase he doesn't keep record's. [redacted].
