I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and I accept it

The lender needed more documents to fund the deal which took the customer weeks to provide. We cannot payoff a trade-in until the bank funds the contract. The trade-in was not soldand still remains on our lot.please send any future things to me Chris K[redacted]@aol.comThanks,Chris...

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/04/13) */
On 3/27/15 Mr. [redacted] came in looking to trade. This was on a Friday night. At that time we evaluated their trade at $6,000 dollars. We could not call and confirm their payoff through [redacted] due to that department not being open. The out...

standing balance was last reported to Equifax to be $4,233. The customer stated payoff was $6,000 dollars so that's what we used. The customer signed a form stating any additional balance owed on the trade in would be the responsibility of customer. We called [redacted] Monday morning 3/30/15. They stated the amount owed on account #XXXX-XXXXX is $7174.03 good through 4/9/15. With all of this being said there was an additional $1174.03 needed to satisfy the lien. With it being the customers responsibility we gave two options. First being to pay us $1174.03 with cash or check or to add an additional $1174.03 to the payoff and do a new bank contract. This in return increased the amount financed, which did cause the monthly payment to increase. We completed a bank contract with the additional $1174.03 included and the customer signed.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/04/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We never stated the payoff was $6000. We stated that it was somewhere between $6000-$7000. The salesman stated he would just put $6000 and they would take care of the rest if it was more. I made a mistake and took his word for it. Yes I realize I signed the very fine print. But this is bad salesmanship. That is the point of this complaint. Also nothing was said in the response to the salesman stating we could get our trade in back or pay off the trade in. We were told this three times. WE WERE TOLD we could get our trade in car back. That WAS an option we were given. It's apparent they're not going to admit to this statement. That to is bad salemanship and there again... The point of this complaint. We we were lied to not miss informed. I'm not satisfied with this response. Nissian and HYUNDAI have lost my business forever. I have a 2007 Nissian Titan(paid off) that I was going to trade in for a new 2016 titian but that won't be happening. They fact we were threatened and insulted doesn't really matter to this people. It's all about the sale. we were threatened to sign the paper for the pay off of our trade in...that if we didn't it would go on our credit and insulted by our salesman by saying he never told us we could get our trade in car back in front of everyone . BAD SALESMANSHIP.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2015/05/01) */
When it comes to the payoff of the traded vehicle, we send the payoff check once we recieve the money from the bank for the purchased vehicle. In this case [redacted] funded the deal on 04/13/2015. The money went into our account on 04/14/2015. With that stated we mailed the check on 04/14/2015. We called the lein holder on Friday 04/17/2015. The person responsible for checking their Post Office Box was gone for the day. Per the lein holder they recieved the check on 04/18/2015. At that time we had done what was promised by satisfying the lein.
