Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/04/13) */ On 3/27/Mr [redacted] came in looking to tradeThis was on a Friday nightAt that time we evaluated their trade at $6,dollarsWe could not call and confirm their payoff through [redacted] due to that department not being openThe out standing balance was last reported to Equifax to be $4,The customer stated payoff was $6,dollars so that's what we usedThe customer signed a form stating any additional balance owed on the trade in would be the responsibility of customerWe called [redacted] Monday morning 3/30/They stated the amount owed on account #XXXX-XXXXX is $good through 4/9/With all of this being said there was an additional $needed to satisfy the lienWith it being the customers responsibility we gave two optionsFirst being to pay us $with cash or check or to add an additional $to the payoff and do a new bank contractThis in return increased the amount financed, which did cause the monthly payment to increaseWe completed a bank contract with the additional $included and the customer signed Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/04/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) We never stated the payoff was $We stated that it was somewhere between $6000-$The salesman stated he would just put $and they would take care of the rest if it was moreI made a mistake and took his word for itYes I realize I signed the very fine printBut this is bad salesmanshipThat is the point of this complaintAlso nothing was said in the response to the salesman stating we could get our trade in back or pay off the trade inWe were told this three timesWE WERE TOLD we could get our trade in car backThat WAS an option we were givenIt's apparent they're not going to admit to this statementThat to is bad salemanship and there againThe point of this complaintWe we were lied to not miss informedI'm not satisfied with this responseNissian and HYUNDAI have lost my business foreverI have a Nissian Titan(paid off) that I was going to trade in for a new titian but that won't be happeningThey fact we were threatened and insulted doesn't really matter to this peopleIt's all about the salewe were threatened to sign the paper for the pay off of our trade in...that if we didn't it would go on our credit and insulted by our salesman by saying he never told us we could get our trade in car back in front of everyone BAD SALESMANSHIP Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 12, 2015/05/01) */ When it comes to the payoff of the traded vehicle, we send the payoff check once we recieve the money from the bank for the purchased vehicleIn this case [redacted] funded the deal on 04/13/The money went into our account on 04/14/With that stated we mailed the check on 04/14/We called the lein holder on Friday 04/17/The person responsible for checking their Post Office Box was gone for the dayPer the lein holder they recieved the check on 04/18/At that time we had done what was promised by satisfying the lein
