I cannot imagine having had a worse experience and all was due to the financing departmentFirst, I was promised to get the same interest rate through Crest that my bank had promised meFinancing through Crest would take $off the price of the car, so I decided to save the $and go with CrestHorrible mistakeAfter having to paperwork 3-in the office that afternoon, I left Crest assuming all was taken care ofWrongI had to return to Crest both of the next two days to paper work because the car had been written up incorrectly and now Honda could not finance me at the interest rate I was promisedThe finance department let me know that they "really went above and beyond" to make things right by finding a credit company that would give me the same interest rateThe options I was given were Capital One and Western Union. The $I was supposed to save off the price of the car for financing with Honda was added back to the priceWhen I mentioned this, the finance department told me that since I had chosen to finance with a company other than Honda, that I was going to have to deal with thisI reminded them that the only reason I was financing with another company was because of mistakes Crest had made, and I wanted the $off the price of the car or they could have the car backOnce I was on hold for a while as "approval was needed," I was told that Crest would take the $off the price of the car that they had promised to do from the very beginning After this, I thought all was finally taken care of and I left town for work trainingWhile I was gone, I received multiple calls, email mails, and voicemails in the same afternoon that I need to come to Honda and sign yet another form that had been written up incorrectlyI explained that I was out of town and this wasn't possible, so I was told I needed to print, sign, and fax the form to their office within the hour so that Crest could add this sale to that month's reportAs in Crest wanted me to do this for them so that everyone would get their bonusI let them know that I would be back in town that Monday and I would come to the office myself to fix things and not to contact me until thenBefore going to Crest that Monday, I went through all the paperwork (about sets) that we had been given/ signed over the course of thingsI found that the form I was being asked to come in and re-sign was for the gap coverageThe reason I had to re-sign it was because the finance department had increased the price of the gap coverage by $50, even after the price of the car was just reduced by $This made no senseI called Crest and asked to speak to the GMI met with him that afternoon and told him the whole storyAt this point, I had been dealing with the whole mess for weeksAfter going through all the issues in the paperwork, I asked why I had been charged an extra $on the gap coverageThe GM of Crest Honda looked and me and told me that the finance department probably just added it in there to make up part of the $they had lost off the price of the carSo yesThe GM had just told me to my face that Crest was trying to cheat money out of me to make up for their own mistakesAt this point I was beyond furiousI understand that mistakes happen, and I can work with thatHowever, now the company had insulted my intelligence one too many times, and were now basically trying to steal money from meFinally, new, complete, correct paperwork was drawn up, a check request for $was made on my behalf for the money I had been wrongly charged, and I thought I was done with it once and for all
All of that happened in July and I never got a $check
I inquired about the check once or twice, but nothing was ever solved and I was so over it that I decided to let it goI was still upset about the principle of the matter, but I was ready to put it all behind me
A few months later I decided to refinance my car for a few reasonsI refinanced and called Crest to see what paperwork they wanted me to bring in so that I could cancel my gap and warranty with themI was told I had to wait until I got confirmation from Capital One that the loan had been paid offI did this and then took all my paperwork to Crest to finally be done with them once and for allAfter waiting minutes for someone to see me, imagine my surprise when I had to sign the same forms multiple times because there was an error here or thereI was also told when I got there that I didn't need any of that paperwork that I had waited two weeks to get from Capital OneWhen I told Crest that I wanted my reimbursements that day they looked at me like I was crazyI reminded them that I had been waiting months for a $check I was supposed to get and that they could imagine why I didn't have full confidence in the check-writing/ mailing abilities of HondaSo after telling yet another manager my whole story, I left with copies of all the paperw

I got a great deal and fun experience getting my daughter an Accord
