Revdex.com 211 N.Broadway Suites 2060 St Louis, Mo 63102 Atten: [redacted]   We are in receipt of your correspondence ID #[redacted]. Crest Remodel LLC did contract with Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] on 2/15/16. It always in our interest to optain 100% customer...

satisfaction, but unfortunately customer excepectation sometimes over come there judgment. With over 90% customer satisfaction rate we feel this customer falls into the other 10% that we cannot satisfy no matter what followup, or meetings to gain a solution we have with them. They currently have a balance due of $8,132.50 per our contract and agreement. On 6/7/2016 Mr. [redacted] presented a list of concerns at a meeting to review. At this point the project was not completed and ready to review items since the project was not completed no did we submit for final payment and inspection? At this meeting was the Architect of record for the project [redacted] happened to stop by to review flashing detail for metal roof. During this 2 hour meeting [redacted] stayed and went over items of their concern and instructed them to let Crest Remodel LLC complete project and then a he would walk through with a punch list addressing any concerns. During this time extreme heat and rainy weather prevented items to be completed. This project had on record 44 days of weather related delays at a minnum. At the conclusion of this meeting the Architect on record was overall satisfied with the installation of products that he had designed. On June 26 Sunday both the architect and Crest remodel LLC were e mailed demanding us to have a meeting the next morning Monday 6/27. Crest Remodel LLC had schedule workers to work on project on that day but Mr. [redacted] would not allow us to work. He instructed us to leave until we meet with the architect. The meeting was arranged for 10:30 6/29/16. At this meeting we were inform that Mr. [redacted] had contacted the city of Webster Building Commissioner and inspector for a prior meeting without either of us attending. At the 6/29/16 meeting he spelled out additional items form previous list he submitted and said he did not thing the metal roof was installed correctly, the brick panels on his house not installed correctly and three comments from the city of we bester. One being the stairs not being installed per code and the handrail height was not to code. He failed to mention that he call a final inspection that the project was not ready for. At this meeting that lasted over 2 hours the architect on record review items again and agreed that it were installed properly. Crest remodel LLC was aware of the items that city of we bester had brought up but the contractor on record calls for final inspection not homeowner when they feel like. At that meeting I instructed Mr. [redacted] that I would speak with the city of we bester to address there concerns. Please also be advised that the brick manufacturer visited the site during installation and after and was ok with installation. Also the metal roof was correctly installed per manufactures layout and design. It had not been completed and sealants applied due to heat and customer not allowing us to work on it. Crest Remodel LLc was in contact with manufacturer regarding flashing application not standard in there installation guides. They also visited site during installation. The roof has not had any leaks and has only cosmetic items that need to be address. Crest Remodel LLC had a meeting with the city of Webster as promised on 7/19/16 The 3 items that were address were: Handrail height. During this meeting we also discovered that height of rail was install according to blueprint, however due to porch base height it could not be lowered. The city of we bester suggested that it was an easy solution to fix since it was only 1”+- to high. They suggested that adding a small trim piece would be acceptable. The other item was the stair height in which I agree need to be changed. The last item was an inspection of the roof in which they completed and signed off in May.   Crest Remodel LLC has determine that this customer has no intention to pay the final balance upon completion of work. All work was completed and review for approval by the architect on record for this project. It is our desecion to release the [redacted]’s of their contract liabilities due to their endless complaints that seem to have no solution to them. We also do not accept or authorize any work being done on this project without our commitment. It is unfortunate we have demonstrated our service to resolve this issue but cannot come to reasonable solution Thank you for your interest.
