This company lies to get your money, avoids fixing things, and leaves you renting an inhabitable unit.
I have received nothing but problem after problem from this company. I found roaches in my apartment upon moving in 6/22/2020, told Zara about them and she assured me the apartment would be treated the next week. It is now July 22nd, it has still not been treated. Next, on July 4th, I contacted Zara about a few windows in my apartment being loose, and moving back and forth when you touch them. She told me she would forward the issue to the maintenance team. They finally came out Tuesday 7/14/2020, only to tell me they would come back the next day. It is now Wednesday 7/22/2020 and the glass in the window is completely gone. This is a second floor apartment, in a 6 year olds bedroom. Unsafe living conditions?! I think so. SECOND FLOOR. Really crest core?! Is this how you treat your tenants?!
DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Desired Outcome

Credit for how high my utility bill will be for the unfixed window, pest control and repair of ALL windows, and the master Bedroom closet light.

Hi ***

We are very sorry to hear about the experience you had with the property. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide a full refund but instead provide you the refund for the security deposit and the remaining balance on your first month which in total is $1400.00. The reason is you have already moved in to the property last July 3. Regarding your concern with the HVAC, the tech from our vendor came and was able to address the issue. If you still have some concerns or inquiry, please do not hesitate to communicate to us.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Because I never stay one night in the house from the time I moved my things in their it wasn't my fault that they aphousing was all *** and not stable for me n my kids to stay in so basically they have got 300 some dollars n I ain't even stay there if they charger because my stuff was in there it should my that much than I get a light bill 250$ n don't use not one light that because that running*** air all day never shut off

I was asked to pay a double security deposit for a property I was trying to obtain.
I was approved for a home, then after approval notified that if I wanted to rent the home I'd have to pay a double security deposit totaling $1100.00 and that I had 48hrs to pay. Ok, that's fine I had the money but, I couldn't figure out why that was. I met all criteria, so I thought, which I check out before applying. This was on a Friday after hours that I was notified about the deposit. So, on Monday I recieved a text stating that the property had been rented and I could look for other properties. Now my complaint is per our conversation the lady told me I was asked for a double deposit because of my credit, which I have text messages stating. My credit is not under 500. On their website, they state anyone with a credit score under 500 may be required to pay double per their discretion. So they can require a person with a score under 500 to pay or not solely up to the m. If my score is not under 500, because for one I monitor it and two they sent me the same report they used to approve me, why did I have to pay a double deposit? I was approved so obviously I met their criteria, but I'd rather be denied than cheated out of my money. I've been told no many times before. I'm separated from my husband and raising three boys. I lost out on the home because of this and someone has already gotten it.

Desired Outcome

I would like for them to follow their own criteria guidelines and not require a double deposit from me, if I were to find a property. Or to refund me my application fee, because I only applied after I checked to make sure I met the standard criteria.

Hi***

We are very sorry for the negative experience you had with our company. As per our investigation on this matter, your application was originally declined. However you were given a leeway and was approved, given that you are willing to pay an additional one month security deposit. Regarding your application fee, it is still valid for 60 days from the date of payment. However, if you decide not to look for another property, we will be able to provide you a refund. Please call our Crestcore number so we can have this processed.
