Review: I bought 250 bales of [redacted] hay. It was advertised as excellent quality hay. After delivery when we opened up a bale it was moldy. After checking multiple bales we found mold in most of them, I called crestview farms and was told to spread bales out so they could dry, and they would make good on bad bales. After taking all bales back out of barn and putting in sun they kept molding we saved approximately 40. Bales. I called crestview farms back and was told he would not replace bales.or refund money after much heated discussion I agreed to go to his place and he would replace bales. His place is approximately 4.5 hours from mine. He promised he had non- moldy hay, after I got there I found hay was moldy , I tried to get my money back he told me he had to get a check from his accountant and that it would be mailed to me. Of course I never received it ,after more phone calls , and several texts where I was told off, I gave up. The hay cost me $2000 and about $350 in fuel to go to his place to get hay to replace the bad hay I had received, so I am out $2350 and a whole day of driving for nothing. I have been in horse business for 40 years and have bought hay from countless farmers and have never had any problems like this. I wish there was some way for people to have to stand behind what they say. Before this experience I had always found that farmers were the most trusted and honest people to deal with. Their word was all I ever needed.Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated for monies that I lost. The total is $2350.
