Review: On December [redacted], 2015, we made the UNFORTUNATE decision to use Crestwood Limo. We've been coming to NYC for years now and have never had such a horrible experience with a limo or car service.
The driver picked us up from our hotel to take us to the airport. He parked almost a whole block away which forced us to bring our luggage to him. First mistake. We made our way out of the city and the driver made a comment that he needed to charge us more because we insisted we had 8 suitcases which was a complete lie. We had a total of 5. He [redacted] over from the fast lane to the far right lane to "threaten" to leave us on the side of the road. Second mistake. He then said he was going on a detour to take us to the head office so they could count the luggage. Okay, let's go and prove them that you aren't being honest and can't count. After making multiple calls to the office, the driver was instructed to take us to the airport. Complete silence the rest of the way. Thank goodness.
We get to the airport and the driver stays seated in his seat and hands a blank receipt back requesting a signature ON A BLANK RECEIPT. Who does that? Third mistake. Of course we aren't signing a blank receipt. My husband started unloading our own luggage (he knew he wasn't getting a tip so he didn't help) but once I refused to sign the blank receipt, he came out of the vehicle to the back of his SUV to try and slam the door down saying we weren't getting our luggage. He grabbed my arm and shoved it to the side to try and slam the door. That wasn't happening.
Our mistake. We should have called the police right then and there and pressed charges immediately. We should have called an attorney right on the spot. Again, our mistake. We got our bags as it was clear that he was in the wrong and didn't want to make a scene with all of the airport security standing around. After multiple emails and calls, the company has stopped responding. There have not been any returned calls or a written apology from the owner or President of the company like we requested. This company has not been professional in handling this issue and has tried to brush it under the rug which I refuse to allow.Desired Settlement: The company did offer an incredibly insulting discount supposedly but that hasn't been verified.
This is what we are requesting:
A full refund for the entire ride to the airport
A written apology from a company executive--acknowledging their "sincere" apologies for this situation
We have the means to continue to take this matter to whoever will listen, including every outlet on the internet. We want a sincere and honest end to this issue and looking forward to finally getting it resolved in a professional way.
