Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Up to this point, I still have personally not received a receipt from this officeFirst, I was not informed that Ms*** would have 24-hours to complete my requestIf I had been told this in the beginning, none of this would have happened because I would have been prepared to waitInstead, I was told that as soon as she returned to the office it would be handled, assuming the same daySecond, I am shocked that it is claimed I was upset when I only made an inquiryI was not upsetThe person who claims this is the one who got upset firstThird, I never made statements that the office was incompetent or that everyone should be able to fill all positions. This claim is absurdIt is interesting how I am now being lied on for the office's neglecting to treat me as they only should...with respect and dignityFourth, at no time did I ever refuse to tell her why I needed the receiptIn fact, I gave her a thorough explanation that it was needed for my personal real estate records and for general real estate purposesFifth, I would never use foul language to communicate my requestOn the contrary, I remained on the line in an attempt to have my request fulfilledIt is the office staff who hung up on me twice and demanded I provide information to them that I did not have toI also find it interesting that the manager had time to get in her car and scope my previous property, but not simply return my phone callThis office involved an unnecessary party (my realtor) as it was not their business to involve him in the matterIt was my request and not his, my wanting the receipt from them, not himThis shows the lack of care and professionalismAnd up to this point, I still have not personally received the receipt as it was sent to my realtor instead of me. Additionally, I am not ashamed that I placed several voicemails or called several times as I needed the information the day before and was not informed that there would be any reason why I would not receive itI was also never informed that I could contact my title company for the information requestedIt is also claimed that I did not pay my feesBut this makes no senseWhy would I call and request a receipt if I was trying to hide the fact that I didn't pay? This speaks to the incompetency of the office and also the person who claims itCrestwood's response does nothing but show the level of ignorance that resides in this property management company and their willingness to blame property owner's for what is actually their lack of care, respect, and professionalism.
Regards,
*** ***

I, Pamela [redacted], am the employee in question that had the disagreement with the [redacted] Homeowner, [redacted] on December 16th, 2015. Mrs. [redacted] originally called on December 15th, 2015 at 3pm and...

requested that we send her a proof of receipt that she had paid her 2015 HOA dues for the [redacted] Subdivision where her vacant property resided at [redacted] Indianapolis, IN 46241. I informed the homeowner that I am not allowed to do what she requested and that Mrs. [redacted] would need to handle the request and that she was out of the office at the moment. Please keep in mind that our office hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm. The following morning on December 16th, 2015 at 10:00am (One hour after we opened for business) the Homeowner then calls and wants to know why we didn’t fax the information she requested. I informed her that it had only been two business hours since she originally requested the information and that it generally took Mrs. [redacted] anywhere from 24 to 48 hours to respond to a request as she is a very busy woman. The Homeowner then got very upset with me and wanted to know why I couldn’t do it, I told her that it was not my department and other than processing HOA payments I did not have anything to do with the financial department. She then said that didn’t make sense and that we were an incompetent office and everyone should be able to fill all positions. I told her that generally at an office everyone has their department. I then asked her why she needed this information and she refused to tell me. I told her that Mrs. [redacted] would be in contact with her as soon as possible. The Homeowner then threatened that if she did not have the requested information by Monday that she would come to the office and find me. I asked her if she was threatening me and she said I could take it how I wanted but that it was a guarantee. I then told her that I was not going to listen to her yelling and cursing at me and I was not going to let her threaten me so “God bless you and have a good day.” And hung up. The Homeowner then called back and told me not to dare ever say that to her and that it was rude of me to hang up on her. I proceeded to tell her that I did not hang up on her and I was sorry that she felt that way and that once again I would have Mrs. [redacted] contact her as soon as possible and hung up, again. I then proceeded to call my boss Mrs. [redacted] and told her about what was going on in the Office, Mrs. [redacted] informed me not to answer any more phone calls or to talk to the Homeowner again. The irate Homeowner continued to call the office 52 times in a two and a half hour period; therefore, Mrs. [redacted] went to [redacted] (she was already working in the neighborhood that day) and noticed that the home was vacant and had a For Sale sign in the yard. Mrs. [redacted] then called the Realtor listed on the sign and told them about what was currently taking place. They apologized and said that they would handle the issue. [redacted] proceed to continue to call and yell into our voicemail profusely irate. Finally after two and a half hours of harassment [redacted] stopped calling the office. I have worked for Crestwood Property Management on and off for many years and never in all my years of doing Property Management have I encountered such a situation. At the end of the day, the Homeowner only gave us TWO hours to complete her request which was not sufficient time at all. We were in the middle of doing a mass mailing as it is time for the 2016 HOA dues invoices to be sent out and that took priority over anything unless it was an emergency. On top of that, I am NOT to give Homeowners or Title Companies and proof of payment, Assessment letters, etc without the Title Company first sending us a written request to Mrs. [redacted] email address. If I were to do so, it would then cause Crestwood Property Management to lose out on a Processing Fee and a Transfer fee which is required any time a house sells in one of the Subdivisions. [redacted] should have never called here in the first place for the request, what she was trying to accomplish should have been done by her Title Company. Also, I would like to state that the Realtor told Mrs. [redacted] that they never told her to call us. I think that [redacted] was trying to be sneaky and get out of paying the fees that we charge and was upset that it didn’t work out in her favor. Mrs. [redacted] told the Realtor to send the request to her email and as soon as the Realtor did so Mrs. [redacted] sent them the information they were requesting. By 4pm on December 16th, 2015 the Realtor had all information requested. There was no loss of money as the HOA dues of $196.00 is a required fee for all [redacted] HOA Homeowners. [redacted] has since sold her home and is no longer a resident at the [redacted] Subdivision. If you have any questions I would be glad to talk with you about this incident at any time. Our Office hours are Monday – Friday 9am -4pm excluding all Federal Holidays. Please note that we have saved the voice mails if you would like to come listen to them. You can also see the caller id where she called  52 times.
Kind Regards, Pamela [redacted][email protected] (317) 241-5933Fax (317)241-4516
