Review: We have been patiently waiting for Creswell to build our home for 4+ years. When we got the construction loan approved on Jan 2013. The contractor have not yet broke ground due to hardship of getting the township's permit. But in the process, he worked on other projects and pushed our aside for months. He was doing pro-bono worked the whole time (for getting the permits). He requested the 1st draw money from me in Sept 2013 (he told us that he will break ground a month later) in the amount of $20,800 (I also gave him $1200 to be used toward passive certification process. So, the total is $22,000. We finally got the township permit at the end of Aug 2014. I told him to contact the bank to make sure everything is resolved (bank was disturbed that nothing had happened the whole time). I contacted the bank myself and they threaten to close the loan account due to inactivity. We managed to keep it open provided more information to him. The contractor took his time in reply back to the bank. We could've broken ground in Sept 2014 but the bank approved 'again' in Oct 2014 but contractor couldn't break ground until Nov due to other project he was working on. We were not pleased with how he handle his business. So, we decided to terminated the contract with him. Three (3) weeks later, we heard nothing from him. I followed up with him (via email) that I want my $22,000 back within the week or I will file legal action against him. It's past that week so far. He did mention in the email prior to his termination that he would have to go through budget so he can be paid for his service up to date. That's contradict with pro-bono but I am aware that some fees were paid for the permits. I should get most of it back.Desired Settlement: I would like to have most of my money back from him ASAP.
