Absolutely terrible communication between them and their customers as well as them and their unskilled workersThe ordeal of dealing with Creta Universal Construction turned out to be a frustrating debacleI hired Creta to do a simple roof repair (take down old gutters and install drip edge flashing and new, continuous gutters on one side of my home.) The owner, Vasile Creta came to my home and I explained to him exactly what I wanted done He spoke, by phone, to someone (in a language I could not understand) supposedly explaining the work to be done.Creta insisted that I pay him 50% down ($300.00) or the work would not be startedHe told me a work order would be emailed to me He left, telling me that TWO workers would be at my home in the morning(I know from experience that it takes two people to put up a long section of continuous gutter, so I felt comfortable that Creta knew what I wanted.) By the time I received the proposed work order, it did not detail what I had request

This man was contacted through *** *** ***When he came to give me a free estimate, he didn’t check out the problem and said he would be charging $Friends advised that shouldn’t cost more than $and when I told him he said he would do that and I said okHe then said he would probably have to buy a bolt so charge is $Since we wanted to get our whirlybird attached back up on the roof I agreedHe pulled out a ladder and took whirlybird up on roofIn about 5-minhe came back to the door and asked for his checkI asked how it was and he said no problem but might want to replace them within a year and call him for the jobFor about weeks we kept checking but the whirlybird was not ever movingOur pool guy climbed up to check it out and he was furiousHe said the guy cheated us because all he did was set the whirlybird where it belonged but nothing had been connected and there were no bolts to show he even triedI told him how long the guy was here and what he charged and he said I should at least leave a review to show how this guy will mistreat handicapped peopleI am currently having to stay off my feet as much as possible as I have a cast and boot in my right footI’m a diabetic and have Charcot Foot which gives me trouble with walking and I have to use a walker and sometimes a wheelchairThere was no way I would have ever known what this guy had done if my friend hadn’t said he could go check it for meThis guy should have his license and Revdex.com standing removed so he can no longer cheat people and advertise that he is someone who has these things and should be trustedI’m sorry this was so long but I do feel like I have been cheated and it was done because I wouldn’t be able to check on the work he didn’t doPlease let people know that he is not to be trusted at all

Avoid this business at all costs
They do not communicate clearly about timelines, they do not followup with requests When you call their owners they screen their phone calls and hang up, please avoid this business at all costs and the headaches involved

Bad company! keep away from itI asked him to repair a pergola in my backyard He quoted the job for me for three daysbut started and finished in hours ( a morning) without my permission and without a written proposalHe is rude and even call police for no reason as we discussed the poor quality of his jobHe even said to my wife "go back to home and keep mouth shut." Creta did an excellent job on reparing the door to my shed. A fair price was agreed upon on Monday . The workers showed up on Tuesday as scheduled. They worked quickly and carefully and completed the job in about 4 hours. Very satisified with the work done.

Review: Instead of replacing a section of water damaged ceiling, re-texturing and painting like I asked him to he just painted over the stain and didn't even do a good job at that. The stains are still easily visible and he got paint all over the smoke detector. This is in a rental house that I own so I wasn't present when he did the work but he still charged me the full price for the work he didn't actually do. Thankfully I have a great tenant and they alerted me to the fact that he didn't do the job I asked him to do. I went to the rental house to verify the work or lack thereof and saw that he did not do the work as agreed. When I confronted him about it he only offered me a small refund at first and then he offered to work off the rest of the amount by doing other work around the place. He couldn't understand why I was so upset that he tried to rip me off and why I didn't want to continue doing business with him after he betrayed my trust. He finally refunded my original deposit but still hasn't given me a full refund like I requested.Desired Settlement: I was originally billed $450.00 and have only received $350.00 back. I want the final $100.00 for a full refund.

My landlord used this company to install closet doors in my second bedroom. The owner showed up 30 minutes late on the first appointment scheduled and I tried calling the office number on the card but the phone just rang and rang. Once the owner arrived he was in such a rush and did not complete the job correctly and told me that my child and I could not open the closet doors regularly we had to do it very soft. The closet door fell off the track on me while trying to open the closet door days later. Once my landlord was able to contact the owner of this company he called me to schedule a time fix the closet doors for the second time. I spoke with Creta the owner to come between 10am and 11am and he never showed up. My landlord called him again and Creta stated they would come between 12 noon and 1pm and he did not show then as well. I would not recommend this company to anyone they do terrible work take your money and don't keep their appointments.

Review: I just bought a home and needed to do some renovations. I went to [redacted] to get a referral for replacing the screens on my porch. The screens were tattered in places and obviously had been in place a long time.

They gave me a list of 4 contractors and one was Creta Universal. I started down the list and Creta Universal returned my call first. The person that returned my call name is Wes. He showed promptly and was very nice. He said that he would be right out to give me a quote. He said that he could replace the screen for $675.00 so in good faith I gave him a deposit. The next day he shows with a helper and removes the existing screen. He then introduces the idea of replacing the screen with a sun shade screen rather than a actual screen. I interned agreed to try the sun shade screen that he suggested. After he installed the sun shade screen I paid him the rest that was owed.

Spoke on 3 April. 4 April gave him part of the money. 10 April he started the job. 15 April needed to be repaired.

18 April he fixes again. 29 April blows down again. 1 May needs to be fixed again and I ask him to refund my money. He now says he will be back out to fix it again. He was suppose to show this Saturday 16 May to fix it again. He never showed. I do have record of all conversations, pictures, dates and times. He keeps telling me that this time he will fix it right. I have lost all faith in his ability to fix my screen.

I warned him that I was going to contact the Revdex.com to file a complaint and would contact [redacted].

I would like to be reimbursed my $675.00 that I gave in good faith to replace the screen on my porch.Desired Settlement: Refund my money of $675.00.
