I would like to submit this updated information regarding this complaint (ID [redacted]). When I initially read the response from Creve Coeur Camera, I was taken back by the inaccuracy of the purchase and the return of the camera lens, this is what lead to the rejection of their response.  I have attached photo copies of the purchase and return receipt to refute the statement that I returned the lens 3 weeks later. The lens was purchased on 11/15/2017 and returned on 11/24/2017. I received a phone call from the owner, directing me to look at the whole response and the part where he stated that they would accept what I wanted. So I will gladly accept the resolution offer and I want the $49.50 restocking fee, refunded to me. The store provides not only the latest gear in photography, but they sponsor a lot of good workshops and classes regarding photography, so with that said I hope to get this resolved quickly.

to the return date as we did in this case. The return time was fine.
However, we did discover he was charged a restocking fee due to the shape of them item returned.
We cannot sell this item as new. It looks damaged. Hence they were charged a fee. This has to stand since it shows wear.
Since we do feel bad we are sending him $50 in photofinishing gift certificates for his troubles.

The last statement says we will do whatever he wants. I spoke with him and he said he would agree to our offer.
