After receiving the complaint from the Revdex.com about the heater in her Chevy Impala, we contacted Ms*** She informed me that her heater stopped working shortly after the carwash and that she believed we sprayed water into this equipment on her vehicle I asked her to go back to the location and complete an incident report Ms***'s told us that her mechanic indicated that her heater equipment was water logged and she paid $to have it repaired Crew Carwash washes millions of cars each year and we have never had a similar complaint Automobiles engine components are designed to get wet or sealed in a matter to protect them from water A quick online search showed that heater issues on Chevy Impala's are commonly reported I've attached a screen shot from one of many "car complaint/recall" websites which indicates this problem is "pretty bad" on their severity rating scale Unfortunately engine components fail and we believe this incident was not related to any negligence or wrong doing by Crew Carwash We understand that car problems can be very frustrating and expensive We are sorry this happened but we are unable to accept liability for the issue reported by Ms***[redacted] SrCustomer Service ManagerCrew Carwash855-403-
On 3/we spoke with Ms [redacted] about the claim she filed for scratches to her Honda We explained in detail that these scratches are not consistent with how the carwash makes contact with the vehicles The scratches reported by Ms [redacted] are long solid lines (see attached pictures) down the drivers side of her vehicle Our soft cloth that contacts the sides of the vehicle is rotating at rpm as it moves down the side of the vehicle In a worst case scenario, if something that could scratch a finish was stuck in the cloth, we would see a choppy pattern to the scratches We understand Ms [redacted] 's disappointment in finding this damage and we also understand why she passionately feels this damage was caused by the carwash Unfortunately this type of damage is typically noticed after the vehicle is cleaned and it's very easy to assume it was caused by the wash In reality this type of damage can easily be caused during use of the vehicle and without the owner being aware of it happening In effort to show Ms [redacted] we value our customers, we will offer a one time customer goodwill payment of $in effort to help offset the cost of having the scratches buffed out Crew Carwash [redacted]
