Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/02/29) */ Prior to any child being accepted into our school parents are given and sign a receipt acknowledging when tuition payments are due and the required weeks notice before withdrawing a child from the schoolPayments for tuition are due on Friday of every week by Close of Business On January 4, [redacted] was notified that she had an outstanding balance for child care services on the previous weeksWe allowed [redacted] time to pay her bill as she was having financial difficulties paying the $each weekHowever, weeks was more than any other child care facility would have waited for paymentShe is aware of this as we are the second child care facility that she has been removed from for non-payment [redacted] stated she would bring in the payment that afternoon so we allowed her child to come to the centerOn January 6, [redacted] still had not paid the fee so we informed her that until the payment was made we could not allow her son to returnWe had not heard anything from [redacted] until mid February On February 17, [redacted] called and stated she did not have anyone to watch her child and wanted to know if she could bring in $and have her child allowed back into the child care centerShe was informed by the director (***) that we could not accept any amount lower than the $ On February 19, we still had not received payment so we turned [redacted] over to collections for non-paymentOn February 23, [redacted] called and said she would bring the payment into the office that dayOn February 24, she came into the office and handed me a check, it wasn't until she walked out of the door that I noticed she had not signed the checkI immediately tried to call her but all the numbers listed in the file were disconnectedWe contacted her via email and informed her that she needed to come back to the office and sign the check so we could deposit it into the bankWhen she called [redacted] (owner) answered and asked her why should drop off an unsigned check [redacted] stated "it couldn't be cashed until Friday anyway." [redacted] said we did not agree for you give us an unsigned, post dated checkTherefore, she would need to bring in a money order or cashier's check [redacted] came into the office on February 26, and created a scene in front of the childrenFor the safety of our children the police had to be called to the location and [redacted] has been informed that she is not allowed on the premises any longer and if she does return she would be arrested for trespassing After much discussion, [redacted] processed her payment through the credit card system on 2/26/Afterwards, she threatened to call the state and the Revdex.com to file a complaintShe was informed by us that she has the right to file a complaint with anyone she felt necessary Also, [redacted] called the center several times since her payment and continued to use racial slurs and other inappropriate language to the staffThe administrative staff have been informed that once anyone becomes disrespectful on the phone to disconnect the callIf they are disrespectful, forceful and rude in person to contact the StCharles police departmentThey followed the appropriate protocols that are in place for the safety of themselves and the children
