I did go a head to try to respond to the business and give them a call at both numbers and left a message for rick to get to me and I didn't receive a call back so the issue wasn't handled I left a message with someone who was filling in at the front dest and I called at 1:55pm Wednesday august I really just need the situation handles because I dont feel like things are okay and right I have to pay more money to get the car fixed that I bought and ive only had the car for months and im going to have to spend on it so it be nice to get the money I was promise and money off my car for me even paying payments on my down payment when I told rick that I can only pay Even in the beginning when I first got the car they lost my file its just out wrong right now and not okay

***, we have spoken with this business owner on more than one occasion detailing the way Valley Crime Stoppers program works. We are a nonprofit organization that is totally separate from any law enforcement agency although we do partner with them to offer rewards in order for the law
agencies to have a better chance at making an arrest especially on hard to find suspects. It is my understanding from Fresno PD that this person did not call the Crime Stoppers tip line but contacted Fresno PD letting them know he had footage of this incident. They came to his place of business and that made him a known informant. He then wanted money from Crime StoppersCrime Stoppers operates on complete anonymity to protect those citizens that turn in any criminal activity but do not want any worry about retaliation etc. We have explained this over and over to this business owner about how our program works. Below I have outlined a little more about our program so you can see how it does not pertain to someone who calls law enforcement and is a known informant. We spend quite a bit of money educating the community on how our program works and we can’t be held responsible if he wasn’t aware of our program and the protected process of reporting a crime. *** and *** *** purchased the Chevrolet Cruze on 01/04/This car came with a day or mile warrantyIf his tire had a nail in it and we either failed to see it or it picked up later after purchase I can determine but either way we fixed it at no expenseThe no start problem
occurred after the day warrant was expired but he had extended warranty directly with ChevroletThe problem with his account was his pay history and he also changed jobs within the first weeks after purchase that we advise the customers at time of sale can and will affect their loanIn the months and days that the customer had the car they put miles on it which far exceeded the Arizona average for drivingWe have had massive expenses against this deal and settled with the customer giving them the last payment made as a refund to close the account out on good terms and walk awayNo one is winning hereThe car depreciated along with excessive miles required additional mechanical repairs to put the car back up for saleIf *** would not have changed his job we could have continued as scheduledIn his original agreement he was in default1st payment paid on time, 2nd was paid days late for less then the full payment, 3rd payment was paid days lateThe payment we refunded to the customer was paid days late and his account would have still been $past due including more payments that had become due during this periodBy unwinding the deal we let this customer off easy, we could have repossessed the vehicle for delinquent payments and sued him for the losses and accrued payments. I really just need the situation handles because I dont feel like things are okay and right I have to pay more money to get the car fixed that I bought and ive only had the car for 3 months and im going to have to spend 1000 on it . so it be nice to get the money I was promise and money off my car for me even paying payments on my down payment when I told rick that I can only pay 2000 . Even in the beginning when I first got the car they lost my file . its just out wrong right now and not okay.

I have review the complaint and her file. [redacted] purchased a 2009 Ford Focus on 7/24/15. She paid her down payment on time. Her first payment was due 9/7/15 for $332.02. She paid her 1st 3 monthly payments on time. Her balance owed at that time was $8860.47. When we submitted her to...

[redacted] for refinance they approved the loan at a lower amount which saving were going to be passed on to the customer. The new contract she was asked to sign took into account the payment she had made and lowered the balance over $1500 and lowered her payment from $332 to $286. These were benefits for the customer. They were not necessary for her to continue with us. If she would have continued to pay her original contract payments we would not have had a problem. [redacted]failed to pay her December 7th and January 7th payments putting her in default. She also let her insurance laps on January 1st for non payment. We left messages on 12/15, 12/30, 1/7, 1/8, 1/12 trying to resolve the payment and insurance on good terms. On January 13th we put the car out for repossession due to 2 months payment past due and laps of insurance. When she came in that day after repossession she stated she already bought another car. We didn't try to trick her into changing finance companies, we tried to help her with a lower balance and smaller payment. I dont see the problem with that. There will be a repossession on her credit which was in fact what happened due to her choices. If she would like to contact me to see if a settlement on our losses can be reached I would be willing to listen. If that agreement is made we can negotiate fixing the credit problem. Thank you,
