Advertised camera Nikon D3300 for $305.00 when you place an order they send you
an email that you need to verifies your order verbally otherwise would not been processed, when you call they would tell you that you order a "Chinese" model and
the US model cost $350.00 and it comes with no battery if you want with battery it
will cost $420.00.
When I told them all cameras in other competitor comes with battery they said that is not true. I believe that this is a very dishonesty to do business.

They are a Bait and switch scam! They advertise LOW priced cameras, then after you purchase, you have to call them to confirm the purchase before they'll ship the camera. (That's a new one- RED FLAG) So you call them, and they double talk about how the camera was a European grey market model and the battery isn't included, but if you want a battery they'll sell you one, but you really should upgrade to the US model, because the European Model doesn't come with a warranty and the battery and charger aren't the same as in the US . I told him to cancel the order. He said why, did you find it cheaper somewhere else. I said, no, I don't like the way you do business. He then got nasty and said you'll get a refund in 30 days or I can make it longer. All I can say is that these guys are scammers!!!! Don't Buy!!

Review: I was considering placing an order for a Canon Powershot SX60 from Crispdeals, but was concerned as the price seemed low ($339) and was wondering if the business and camera were legit. I called [redacted]. I was specifically concerned about the price being low, and inquired as to whether it was a grey market camera. I was assured it definitely was not. I asked if it came with a U.S. warranty card. I was told that was absolutely the case. I inquired about the return policy and whether there was a restocking fee. I was told there was NOT a restocking fee.

The salesperson I spoke to (a man with a NY accent) said I also needed a battery and charger, which did not come with this offer. I asked if it was the same as the SX50 battery and charger, as I already have those. I was told it was NOT. There was an additional $80 charge for this item.

I researched [redacted] online to make sure it was a legitimate business. I placed my order with crispdeals. The charge showed up on my credit card as being from Acameras, a company I did not research in advance.

I got concerned and decided to cancel the order. I sent two emails BEFORE the item was shipped on Dec.**, 2015, and on Jan.2. I also called but got a recording saying the inbox was full and no messages could be left.

The camera arrived. The camera I received was GREY MARKET. We know this because we contacted Canon. We gave them the serial number and they said is NOT covered by U.S. Warranty. In fact, it is apparently not even covered by Canadian/European Warranty (the serial number came up as invalid). Canon also told us that neither Acameras nor Crispdeals are authorized Canon dealers.

The camera came with a EUROPEAN charger. Canon was able to tell me this because it has a separate plug. Canon also confirmed that the battery and charger ARE the same for the SX50 and SX60, so the information given to me by the salesperson on this issue was also not true. (So I didn't need to buy it.)

I immediately called Crispdeals about returning the camera. I was told there would be a restocking fee. I got upset because this was NOT consistent with what the saleperson told me. The person at customer service hung up on me.

I called again. The person said a return authorization RMA had been issued and hung up on me again.

I wrote about the restocking fee and shipping and insurance costs. I finally received a reply that there would be no restocking fee. The shipping and insurance costs were not addressed. I wrote again and was told there WOULD be a restocking fee.

I AM UNWILLING TO ABSORB THE COST OF RETURN SHIPPING AND INSURANCE FOR A GREY MARKET CAMERA THAT WAS SHIPPED DESPITE THE ORDER BEING CANCELLED, AND FOR AN ITEM NOT COVERED BY U.S. WARRANTY WHICH I HAD SPECIFICALLY INQUIRED ABOUT IN ADVANCE.

To top it all off, I received a $12.28 foreign service fee charge on my credit card, because they said the company is based in Great Britain (although according to the salesperson, they are in NY).Desired Settlement: Due to dishonest and fraudulent sales practices, failure to cancel order as requested, and failure to respond in a timely manner, I am requesting the following resolution

- Full refund of $409.98 + 12.28 in foreign service fees to my credit card

- No need to return the product. I am unwilling to have to repackage, ship and pay to return and insure an item that is from a cancelled order, was not as described to me by the salesperson, is a grey market item not covered by US warranty (or possibly any warranty) from a company that is practicing fraudulent sales methods.

This business has very shady business practices.

They do not provide receipts or tracking number for orders.

They do not return emails or phone calls.

It is a very frustrating experience dealing with Crisp Deals.

As of right now I have no idea where my product is or if it will arrive.

Review: I got a camera from them and they said to confirm my order but every time I called the number that's giving they do not pick up even on their business hours and their answering machine just says to call back at their business hours which I am calling in but still I get no answer.Desired Settlement: I just want my camera I don't want any extra money or any extra accessories.

Review: CrispDeals advertises the Canon EOS-5D Mark III (body) for $1,699.95. They advertise regular retail price is $3,999.99 right above their price. We ordered the camera. Shortly after we got a call from CrispDeals saying that the $1,699.95 price is for a cheaper version of the camera and that if wanted the US version of the camera we would have to pay $2,399. We said we would like to cancel and they said that wasn't possible. Our choice was to accept the cheaper (I believe they said import) version of the camera, or give them extra money to buy the camera they actually advertised. We paid the extra after getting very upset on the phone with them because they wouldn't cancel the order. If we return the camera, they will charge us a restocking fee. This is false advertising and horrible customer service.Desired Settlement: We would like to cancel our order and have the full amount that we paid refunded. We do not want to do business with a company that has these deceptive practices.

They should also have to clearly state what product a consumer is purchasing and allow a consumer to cancel an order if they want to.

They will badger you to increase order. Lie to you about shipping dates and then refunds. I am still awaiting refund after returning merchandise on [redacted] December. They usually don't answer the phone.

Review: I ordered a Canon Powershot G16 digital camera from this company online. I received an email asking me to call to verify my order (or the order would be canceled). I called and was informed by the salesperson that the camera was an international model and could not be used in the US (what do foreigners who purchase cameras in their home countries use?). When I asked why, I was informed that the information was in a foreign language. I was told that I needed a US model that was only available in a starter package for more money. When I asked why the international status is not listed on the web site, I was told to put on my glasses. I canceled my order. I did go back to the website and found no mention of the "international" status of this product: [redacted]. What is particularly frustrating about this is I had an identical experience a day earlier with a company named [redacted]. The good price, the email for confirmation, the international problem, the bait-and-switch, the illogical explanation for the need, and the lack of any mention of the international versus US model on the web site.Desired Settlement: I would like to see some warning about this unethical business of Revdex.com sites. I would also like to see the international status appear on the site with an explanation of why this product is unsuitable for US use--something more than language issues, please.
