Review: In August 2014 I booked a reservation with Criteria Management. The quoted room rate was $99. The final charge on my credit card was $316.06. I immediately contacted Criteria to cancel the reservation. Their cancellation policy stated that I would be charged the $99 rate if I cancelled at least 24 hours before the reservation. I cancelled days in advance. Criteria did not acknowledge my cancellation request and charged me the full $316.06 "no show" fee. My repeated attempts to reach someone at Criteria were unsuccessful. I filed a dispute with my bank that was then escalated to Visa. Visa decided in my favor and credited my account the $316.06 and cancelled my card when Criteria attempted to post the charge again in November. On December 18, 2014, Criteria charged my cancelled card again using the authorization number from November. Visa has determined that I am not responsible to Criteria for any amount related to the booking in August, yet Criteria has continued to make unauthorized charges to my account in violation of Visa's policy and their own [Criteria's] cancellation policy.Desired Settlement: Disclose final charges, including taxes and fees, to all customers before finalizing reservations and processing payments. Provide customer service contacts [with monitored phone and email] who will respond to customer correspondence within 24 hours.

Review: [redacted] and I rented The [redacted] corporate apt which was managed from Criteria Reservations.(October 19-25, 2015) They posted the rental on [redacted]@criterianmgmt.com

[redacted], who resides in South Africa secured the apt. for our stay while attending a meeting at the Javits Center.

She paid$1,890 with her husband's debit card/[redacted]. After leaving the apt. we discovered charges were being added to her card. We then learned of the law that one can't rent for less than one month in NYC. Criteria has violated this and taken us for a ride.

Total bill $2560.36 We have tried contacting them to no avail. The NEW owner of the apt bldg,[redacted](her Phone [redacted]) was informed of our experience.

The apt is located at [redacted] Ave.

We have all the email correspondence with Criteria. We corresponded with the office and with [redacted], the man who let us into the apt and had [redacted] sign a contract at a local coffee shop before she took residence there.
