Trainworld has missed some very important facts in their response that I would like to clarify.- EVERYTIME and order is placed the customer has to agree to the companies terms and conditions I did not place a second order therefore I did not agree to the companies terms and conditions on the second order making their policy of returning an item both null and void.- THERE WAS NO SECOND EMAIL NOTIFICATION OF A SECOND ORDER placed from an account I have never used before! The only reason I was aware that there was a second order was because I checked my credit card statement.- There was no shipping charged to the second order originally shipped, Trainworld decided to add additional shipping to the returned order after the fact.- The only proof that Trainworld has provided is that they shiped two identical orders, which should have raised an alert, if their system shows two identical orders to the same recipient placed minutes apart.- I immediately responded to Trainworld and informed them of their mistake The response (*see below) was for me to refuse delivery of the parcel and I would receive a credit for the item Nowhere in that response does it state that I would be responsible for the return shipping and added original shipping for an item I did not even order If I had been properly informed that I would loose money on an item I did not order in the first place I would have made other arrangements.- As for Trainworld's representatives accusation of "slander", to say that Trainworld has the worst customer service I have ever experienced would be an opinion, and one that is shared by many others To say Trainworld has the worst website of any hobby shop and most likely to blame for the double order being shipped, would also be supported by many other past customers shared on many hobby message boards To say that Trainword has taken my money without permission or right, and not only charged me for an item I did not order but added additional charges for shipping on an item that was originally shipped for free would be the definition of stealing! Trainworld has attempted to bully customers using words like "slander" for sharing their opinions, but their customer are only sharing their experiences and the truth.*TrainWorld's Representatives response***

Here are the two orders placed using two different LOGINS. If the login information were the same we may have been able to catch it to help prevent HIS mistake. Unfortunately, whether HE placed this order by accident or intentionally, both orders were shipped. When he notified us of the 2 shipments, both orders were ALREADY shipped out. [redacted]

He had to click I agree to terms before proceeding with BOTH ORDERS.Our website clearly states the following [redacted]Refused Parcels Customers who refuse the delivery of a parcel for any reason, whatsoever, are responsible for the cost of shipping fees incurred to and from your destination, as well as a 15% restocking fee. Your credit card will be billed the appropriate amount for any refused delivery. A lot of time, effort, labor and materials go into every parcel we ship to you. Thank you for understanding. Also for free shipping promotions we state the following[redacted]Shipping will be charged to the customer from any returns that are part of a free shipping program. Shipping cost will be deducted from customers refund. As you see our policies on shipping both ways are clearly stated on our website.We did as a courtesy WAIVE the restocking fee normally imposed.We were INFACT charged shipping fees to our account for his error. In good faith, we are willing to SPLIT the difference and credit the customer $18.24.Please let us know how he would like to proceed.

Upon being informed of [redacted] allegations that he was missing an item that he believed should have been included with the set, I contacted the manufacturer of the product to see if they could supply him with the transformer. Since I had sold [redacted] the last of our stock on that set, I...

couldn't send him the item he was allegedly missing myself. Our sales representative from [redacted] assured me that they would contact the customer to address the issue. We communicated that fact to [redacted] via telephone. I contacted [redacted] the same day that I received the notice from the Revdex.com, and he advised me that he coincidentally received the transformer from [redacted] that he was allegedly missing on that same day.I sent a pre-paid return label to [redacted] so that he may return the item to us, as he couldn't get the train set to operate. We offered him a full refund for the item. [redacted] also agreed that he would withdraw his complaint from the Revdex.com as we have executed our due diligence to correct the issue that he experienced.
