We addressed ***'s complaints on the ** *** within one week of him coming in and voicing his concernsEven though these issues were not covered by the warranty that we placed on the vehicle (we do not have to put any warranty on a car that is years old or older) (***) but we do warranty our used cars for days for the *** (engine/transmission) For the dash board we replaced two burnt out bulbs which we had to order from the dealer as they were special mini bulbs, we advised *** of this and he had no problem with the wait at that time As far as the temperature gauge the car would warm up within 3-minutes of a cold start up but we replaced the thermostat, gasket and coolant anyways-free of charge to *** as an act of Goodwill on our partThere were no further problems with the car at that time and *** took the car, a few days later *** came back saying the dash board was still not bright enough and we turned the dimmer switch up to high at that time, he was happy againWhen he came back again another few days later we checked the dash illumination and could not find any problems with itIt was fully lit and bright even though *** insisted it be brighterWe informed *** that we cannot make the dash any brighter than *** made it from the factoryHe was ok with this at the time. We addressed all of ***s concerns prior to him making any formal complaints to Revdex.com or CTDMV (which I suspect he attempted to and DMV rejected his claims)We never stopped attempting to make *** happy but did have to remind him that he bought a year old used car that runs and drives great, not a brand new carWe strive very hard to retain our A+ rating with the Revdex.com with everyone of our customers and we attempted to do this with ***, but unfortunately we don't seem to be able to please him with whatever we doIt should also be noted that this car has multiple dents that were not on it when we sold it a couple of months ago and its filthy like it has been off road in the mudAs far as the *** plow, we installed a used snowplow on a 20+ year old truck, we had to wait for the parts to come directly from the manufacturer which we informed *** of before starting and he was ok with that as the age of the vehicle the parts are not readily available anymoreUpon completion of the plow everything was in working order as it should beWhen *** came back a few days later to tell us the plow was not working we told him to simply bring the truck back and we would address any issues it may have whether we caused them or notEvery plow manufactured can be lifted to transport as plows do break downWe explained how to raise the plow in order to get the truck back to us, but as of yet he has not brought it in for us to diagnose the problem. We cannot make house callsWe have no way to do this, we must work on the vehicle at our businessTo ask that of us is being unreasonableWe have tried to make *** happy with every issue he has had, but we do not seem to able to, it should be noted that *** has come speeding into our parking lot, parked his car in front of the office and started yelling obscenities at the top of his lungs, we have had to ask him to leave as he was scaring our customers one of which was a mother with her young childrenSo in closing, we will still look at ***s plow/truck as we have said all along we would as long as he gets it to us and treats our employees and other customers with respect, as far as the ** ***, I am not sure what else we can do to make him happy

Response:

purchased a used plow system. new mounting hardware installation of system took business 5 days to install and return to me. the first time I used the vehicle the turning signals and flasher was not working properly . when I got done I shut off truck. I had to restart truck to put plow blade down the battery was dead. the checkengine light went on battery light went on the plow went down. the next day I jump started the truck, it started but I was unable to get plow to go up . do to this I am unable to use this vehicle the plow is stuck down. I cannot take plow off vehicle properly because the chain on the plow is too small and wont get slack enough to remove properly. truck was fine until plow was put on it.

Response:

We addressed [redacted]'s complaints on the [redacted] within one week of him coming in and voicing his concerns. Even though these issues were not covered by the warranty that we placed on the vehicle (we do not have to put any warranty on a car that is 7 years old or older) ([redacted]) but we do warranty our used cars for 30 days for the [redacted] (engine/transmission) . For the dash board we replaced two burnt out bulbs which we had to order from the dealer as they were special mini bulbs, we advised [redacted] of this and he had no problem with the wait at that time. As far as the temperature gauge the car would warm up within 3-5 minutes of a cold start up but we replaced the thermostat, gasket and coolant anyways-free of charge to [redacted] as an act of Goodwill on our part. There were no further problems with the car at that time and [redacted] took the car, a few days later [redacted] came back saying the dash board was still not bright enough and we turned the dimmer switch up to high at that time, he was happy again. When he came back again another few days later we checked the dash illumination and could not find any problems with it. It was fully lit and bright even though [redacted] insisted it be brighter. We informed [redacted] that we cannot make the dash any brighter than [redacted] made it from the factory. He was ok with this at the time. We addressed all of [redacted]s concerns prior to him making any formal complaints to Revdex.com or CTDMV (which I suspect he attempted to and DMV rejected his claims). We never stopped attempting to make [redacted] happy but did have to remind him that he bought a 13 year old used car that runs and drives great, not a brand new 2015 car. We strive very hard to retain our A+ rating with the Revdex.com with everyone of our customers and we attempted to do this with [redacted], but unfortunately we don't seem to be able to please him with whatever we do. It should also be noted that this car has multiple dents that were not on it when we sold it a couple of months ago and its filthy like it has been off road in the mud.As far as the [redacted] plow, we installed a used snowplow on a 20+ year old truck, we had to wait for the parts to come directly from the manufacturer which we informed [redacted] of before starting and he was ok with that as the age of the vehicle the parts are not readily available anymore. Upon completion of the plow everything was in working order as it should be. When [redacted] came back a few days later to tell us the plow was not working we told him to simply bring the truck back and we would address any issues it may have whether we caused them or not. Every plow manufactured can be lifted to transport as plows do break down. We explained how to raise the plow in order to get the truck back to us, but as of yet he has not brought it in for us to diagnose the problem. We cannot make house calls. We have no way to do this, we must work on the vehicle at our business. To ask that of us is being unreasonable. We have tried to make [redacted] happy with every issue he has had, but we do not seem to able to, it should be noted that [redacted] has come speeding into our parking lot, parked his car in front of the office and started yelling obscenities at the top of his lungs, we have had to ask him to leave as he was scaring our customers one of which was a mother with her 2 young children. So in closing, we will still look at [redacted]s plow/truck as we have said all along we would as long as he gets it to us and treats our employees and other customers with respect, as far as the [redacted], I am not sure what else we can do to make him happy....
