Repair Issues In response to letter: We repair said vehicle Dodge Caliber, with parts recommended by the insurance company (***)When Mr*** came back to the shop with leaking problems it was determined by our staff that it was not leaking but was fluid residue from the repairNext
time we saw him he had taken his car and had a transmission install and now his A/C condenser was leaking transmission fluid, we put in a new condenser and it was fineWe talked to the supplier of the condenser, Keystone and told them what happened and gave the client the name & number of keystone as wellSo, in summery we do not know if the condenser was damaged when the transmission was put in or if it was already damagedThe client should have never taken it on himself to put in a transmission without consulting either us or the insurance companyIf he had done so it could have been determined what the problem was and who was at faultIn addition, this particular vehicle is prone to transmission problems, as revealed by a simple internet searchWithout having gone through the proper channels it is impossible for us to know if the problem is due to fault of our own or someone else. *** ***
