Review: I ordered a switch for an animal dryer, Double K 9000II, part #7009. The part shipped to me was not the current model. The schematic for the part on the Manufacturer's website was consistent with the item I described to Cross Bay Appliance. When I called to report that the part was not the same as I had, I was asked to provide a picture of the item. When I called again (they never called back to discuss my problem or resolve issue with the part) to determine what was going to be done to get the required part, I was told I had the right part. The person on the phone was rude. Getting no further with the person, I ended the call. I looked closer at the part shipped and determined the part was used, dirty and broken. The leads on the wires were either cut or noticeably aged indicating use. The manufacturer deals through authorized distributors. When I called directly to the manufacturer to report the problem, they informed me the part supplied was an old version. They also informed me the cost was markedly different from the published price for the part.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my purchase as I did not receive the part ordered.

Review: On 10/**/15, I called and spoke to Ralph of cross bay appliance requestingthe BR S20 foil for my old Braun shaver and he indicated he was ordering it and he said it would be available at his store in one week. He E-mailed me on 10/**/15, indicating that he would contact me shortly. On 10/**/15, I called and spoke to Ralph of cross bay appliance again, not having been contacted by him, contrary to his 10/**/15 E-mail. He said he did not have the Braun shaver foil and he said he would call me shortly. I E-mailed him on 10/**/15, requesting him to contact me by 11/*/15. He did not do so. It is improper to E-mail a customer that you will contact him and never do so.I do not think one should misrepresent oneself to a customer.Desired Settlement: Explanation as to misrepresentation.

Review: IN JUNE THIS YEAR MY MOTHER ASKED ME TO ORDER A HOSE FOR THE AIR CONDITION, I WENT TO APPLIANCE CONNECTION IN THE [redacted] FOR THE PART, APPLIANCE CONNECTION TOLD ME TO CALL OR GO TO [redacted] IN THE [redacted]. SO I DECIDED TO GO TO [redacted] WHICH ON [redacted]. HE TOLD ME THAT THE ONLY WAY I CAN RECEIVE THAT PART IS TO GO ONLINE AND LOOK UP THE NEAREST DELONGHI APPLIANCE BECAUSE THERE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE THE PIECE I AM INQUIRING. THE PIECE IS CALLED THE PAC02, ITS A HOSE FOR THE FLOOR MODEL TO THE AIR CONDITIONER. DELONGHI AMERICA IS THE ONLY COMPANY TO PROVIDE SUCH A PIECE BECAUSE APPLIANCE CONNECTION DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AND THEM ONLY. IT TOOK ME DAYS TO FIND THAT OUT. NOW THE DAY IS SEPTEMBER [redacted] 2014.... WE STILL DO NOT HAVE THE PIECE, DELONGHI, [redacted] THE REP FOR THE COMPANY TOLD ME TO SEND HIM $81.65 TO COVER SHIPPING AND HANDLING AND I SENT IT EVEN KEPT THE PROOF. I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH [redacted] NO MORE. MY MOTHER CALLED TO CONFRONT HIM OF THE SITUATION AND HE GOT VERY BELLIGERENT OVER THE PHONE SAYING OUT OF THIRTY YEARS HES BEEN IN BUSINESS HE HAS NEVER HAD A COMPLAINT TIL NOW. Review: I sent a mint condition Delonghi Magnifica $2,000.00 machine to clear the clogged line. I was told the unit just needed to be cleaned - the crime - a broken unit - chipped, cracked, does not make coffee , cracked water tank was was returned to me - I called and and asked that they sent me the wrong unit - this was a severely broken damaged machine like mine but not mine - they said it was and sorry - not good enough - someone stole my unit and they returned a broken unit to me - I want my coffee machine backDesired Settlement: Refund my $450 charge and return my unit - I will mail back this broken one

Review: old to contact Crossbay appliance Center in Howard Beach NY to arrange for serviceAfter speaking to Crossbay we followed their instructions to double box the machine and remove all appropriate parts and send to them.On 12/**we dispatched the machine (Tracking number [redacted]) to their locationOn **January at 11.27am the machine was delivered and signed for by KitaySince that time we have contacted the company (Crossbay) many times and have been given excuses ranging from :oWe cant find machineoMachine was sent out to another consumeroUPS has itoAnd most recently Fed Ex has itOn February **I contacted [redacted] and explained this situation and was told the matter would be escalated and that [redacted] would get involved to have this matter escalatedFeb **having heard nothing from Crossbay or [redacted] my wife rang Crossbay and they said that the machine still had not been looked at and it was in possession of UPS (somewhere) and we would get a call back.As at today 9 weeks after the machine was dispatched we still do not even know where our machine is.Candidly this is a total disgrace and demonstrates terrible customer service on the part of Crossbay. I would never had any dealings with CrossBay had we not been told to, they are [redacted]s repairer and yet even when being communicated with nothing has happened. The machine is worth several thousand dollars we have not only been without the use of the item but do not even know where it is.Desired Settlement: we want our machine back / fixed, or replaced
