Hello, I am writing to address the complaint with a reference number of ***We have been in contact with Ms*** for that last several weeks and have done our best to explain the charge on her accountWe understand that she feels she has been treated unfairly and we are very
sorry for thatWe provided Ms*** with both pictures of some of the areas that needed to be repainted and the invoice that shows what we paid to have the unit repaintedShe insists that the paint was in imperfect condition when she moved in but neither she nor her roommates noted any paint damage on their mocondition formsWe were/are willing to work with her on the charge but she is not willing to pay for any painting in the unitShe has no other damage charges for her unit and we feel that we have been fair in our dealings with herWe did initially have a carpet cleaning charge on her account by mistake but once that mistake was brought to our attention we promptly removed those chargesMs*** feels that she she wasn't notified of the damage charges and we have apologized for that and explained to her that her charges were posted to her current resident account (She still lives on property in a different unit) with an explanation of what the charges were forShe didn't receive the moveout statement because she hasn't left the property and while we understand that she would've prefered a moveout statement our software wouldn't allow us to send her one because she is still a residentWe have done our best to address her concerns throughout this process and would like to resolve this matter in a way that is fair to both parties.
