bad plant enthusiast
his store is a source of thrips, fungus, bad cuttings and either intentional or unintentional bad information on what you should do for nepenthes. the owner is always making big claims about him finding a way to grow nepenthes better then other people or as fast as regular plants but none of the advice on how to do these things actually works and sometimes leads to your plants getting sick if you listen. to make his claims worse too how is he such a magical nepenthes grower with all the secrets no one else knows about if his plants look horrible when they make it to you ? everything's growth starts getting smaller the day you receive them or have horrible roots or a pest. id normally think this is a problem with my care but every other plant sellers plants grow for me even if the same hybrids as what I bought from cross ? doesn't seem like he's actually a good grower and all around the owner is full of himself and just wants money.

If I could give this place a negative number I wouldAt first they seem like a great company and sell good, solid, used carsBut once you walk out the door, you're pretty much screwed We purchased a Ford Focus for my year old It seemed like it was in great shapeThe owner even told us that if for some reason, my daughter couldn't afford the plates when they expired that she could come back and he would give her another one! I asked them to remove the super dark tint off the back window before we purchased it, because you couldn't see through it at all, and they agreedWell, when we picked the car up, there was still tint on itNot a huge deal right? Well fast forward two weeks and my year old tells me that while she was driving at night, all the lights on her car shut off (dashboard, headlights, emergency lights) I took it into Rock Auto where we bought it, because I only had it two weeks and that is a really big issueWhen they looked at it, they said nothing was wrong electricallyBut they found out that the radiator was cracked, and replaced itSo I was OK with thatBeing that they should have noticed that when they did their initial inspection of the car, but people screw up, and they fixed itFast forward a month, we've had the car for days now, and the electrical system is still messing up more frequently and I got a call from my daughter at 9:pm on her way home saying the lights all went out and the car died at an intersection and she was crying and scaredI told her to put her hazard lights on and I would be right thereWellthe EMERGENCY lights didn't work eitherI told her to put her hood up on the car and go stand on the sidewalk in case someone didn't notice the car and hit it, because there was no indication that the car was disabled in the middle of the dark street at nightSo I get there and we get the car to start and I follow her homeI took the car back to them the next morning and explained the situationThe owner seemed OK with fixing the problem at first and said they had a really good electrical guy coming in that night and he would look at it(Keep in mind, I brought the car into them WEEKS after we bought it for this EXACT same issue) The next day we get a call from Jack saying that they were able to replicate the issue and it may be a few different things, but told me that it wasn't their problem and that I needed to "take ownership of the car" and fix itWell, under circumstances, I would have been more than happy to, if the first time it happened wasn't weeks after we bought it They knew then, that it was a problem and still didn't careJack said he would only charge me $an hour labor plus the part to fix itI made the mistake of saying to Jack that I didn't have hundreds of dollars just laying around to fix a car I just bought and put $down on His EXACT WORDS to me were, "Well, if you cant afford to fix a car, maybe you shouldn't have bought one" At that point in time I told him not to touch the car and I would be there to pick it upWhen I got there, I got the keys and was stopped before I was able to get into the car by JackOf courseHe held on to the door to keep it open, and tried to get me to let them fix the carI told him, I'd rather pay someone else then deal with their bad service I told him to let the door go and I leftWell then as of today we never got the registration card in the mail I called Rock Auto and again got the pleasure of talking to JackAfter explaining the situation to him he looked through his "records" and said everything was sent out in August, but it had been returned to them because THEY didn't fill something out correctlyI asked him if we can get a new temp tag until they got it sorted out, because hers are now expired and Jack LIED to me and said they couldn't do that anymoreWent to the DMV paid to get a new temp tag on the car because Rock Auto screwed it up The DMV told me he lied to me, and should have given me a new tag since it was their faultThere are negative reviews on Google, Facebook and Yelp from other customers as wellI learned to check all the reviews before going to buy a car

On April 26, 2018, I phoned a John ( I believe) at Rock Auto and asked about a white Sebring Convertible that had 103,miles on it I specifically asked if there was anything wrong with the vehicle as I do not like dealing with car repairs The sales representative told me he would go and test drive the car to make sure everything was fine He called me back and said that the vehicle ran well and that the top worked fineHe stressed that it was a car in great condition I arranged a time to come test drive the vehicle the next day, as I was traveling out of the country I drove the vehicle and noticed it was louder than what I'm use to hearing so I asked to drive another blue Sebring with about 56k or so miles on it for about $6,( I believe) They both ran the same (meaning they made noise and the noise was somewhat louder when I accelerated) I informed John that I was going to look at another car that was a few hundred dollars lower and he offered me a day same
