I am rejecting this response because: the woman is not telling the truthOn one occasion she told me they never offer free trialsThe boy at the desk said I had to give my credit card to get the free trialI spent an hour on the phone with her a week ago at which time she swore they would never have charged odd chargesShe has changed her story three timesWhen I last attended the gym, I told them to cancel my accountThey did notMy husband told them the same thing on the same dayThe gym is dirty and hostile to women and seniors.

state to our members. [redacted]'s husband [redacted] started his membership on 7/14/16 and one week later, [redacted] set up her membership on 7/21/16. So that looks to us like [redacted] signed up and [redacted] got a free trial on the 14th, and then one week later, [redacted] signed up. They both were set up on a generously discounted rate of $30/month. Our monthly rates are $59/month. The $30 rate is a rate that we offer to School District employees. It looks like we also extended that rate to her husband [redacted] which is out of our usual scope. That means there was some rate-negotiations that occurred at the front desk.. The reasons that the charges may appear strange is because we were billing for two memberships on two separate dates. The back end of our membership management application sometimes collects bills that are going to the same card and bills them as one bill of $60 instead of two for $30.  Our policy for membership cancellation has always been that we will only refund one month, and we will credit months beyond that. We often have people who show up wanting refunds for many months at a time and our business can not support unplanned bills of many hundred dollars. Thank you.
