Thank you for giving me the opportunity to respond to Complaint ID# ***On the 14th of February, the petitioner called my office: he was obviously distraught and yelled at my office managerAfter this, I once again made it very clear to my crew that we are not to be on the roof next to the
project we were reroofingOn the 22nd of February, the petitioner called again: this time, yelling to my office personnel and threatening the crew simultaneouslyThe circumstance which led to this unfortunate situation was my crew leader having a conversation with the owner of our projectIt was his understanding, via a conversation with our customer, that we had obtained verbal permission to make effective use of the petitioner’s roof for ingress and egress onlyI never knew about the aforementioned discussion and accidental negation of the petitioner’s request until the second call was directed to the office and correlative actions were being pursuedI am a person of my word; I would not have granted permission to access a roof that we were ordered not to access (under any circumstance)I can ensure that the petitioner’s roof will not be accessed again; my entire crew has been apprised of this situation and to demonstrate comprehensive awareness regarding the request to stay off the roof discussed in this unfortunate misunderstandingPlease accept my sincere apologiesWe have garnered additional wisdom from this experience with regards to being more cautious with communicationI respectfully offer my crew’s apologies as wellSincerely, *** ***
