I explained to the guest that there had to be an approval of his refund by a district or a regional manager and that they usually do not provide these refundsSee policy pasted below:When a guest has a Discounted Rate, this includes Discounted Daily, Weekly
and Monthly Rates…. There is NO REFUND ON EARLY CHECK OUT. Make sure this is explained at check inOnly a District or Regional can approve a refund and even in this event- the rate would go to the RACK Daily Rate for days usedThis is why the guest was extend such a low rate, its assumed that the guest will stay the full days, in exchange for the low rateAs to the guests complaints, no one was informed of any fights or anything going on in the parking lot until the guest was ready to check outIf there was fight going on why were we not informed and the police not notifiedThe hotel never informed the gust there was security guards here but there is staff on site hours a day and *** police frequent the lot quite a bit

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I was never told about no policy at check in and there was no secruity on site and I did tell the front desk about the fighting and all I have the clerks to verify I told them. My wife tried to call the number on the door and didnt get a answer. I have reports from there own employees who will verify I complained. Also they have video camares there so they can check it there selfs.

Review: On or about the 29th of December 2013, I received a workmans comp check from [redacted], in [redacted], for 18,000 dollars. On that same day I went to [redacted] to cash that check. I called Crossland Studio at ###-###-#### and made a reservation for 1 month. On January 2, I rented a room,room [redacted], at Crossland Studio. I had paid 1 month in advance for the room and had until February 3rd to renew. After renting room [redacted], my fiance and I went to [redacted] and purchased a 42 inch Sanyo flat screen TV because the TV at the hotel was very small. Everything was fine at the hotel up until January 17,2013 in which the police were called to my room for nonpayment of room [redacted]. I received no advance notice nor was I informed and they entered my room with no cause while I was sleeping. Not knowing what was going on, I told the police I was not feeling good and felt sick,the police took me to [redacted] in Winston Salem. Come to find out I had Ammonia and was hospitalized for seven days. On the 18th, my fianc went to Crossland and spoke to the front clerk,young tall African American,and asked if he had seen me,he replied no but the staff did. My fianc then asked if he could check on me in room [redacted] and he replied no. On January 20 my fianc went to the hotel and saw that they were emptying out room [redacted].She went to the front desk and asked what had happened and the clerk said that I didn't pay the room and that I was no longer with the hotel.I went to hotel on 24th asked to see room [redacted].Manager said was rented.she let me in and no sign of anyone renting.Went to office,manager called police and said room was rented under false name yet I received refund in mail for 74.56 for2 weeks unused written out to me.Still with ammonia we loaded the car and left.My tv was broken and over 14000 dollars was missing.Manager told my fiance she personally cleaned the room.They lied,humiliated and deceived us.they had no right to evict me.paid over 800 for the room.Never [redacted]Desired Settlement: The manager, [redacted], has done nothing but lie to us. She personally cleaned the room so I Know she had taken the money, why else would she tell so many lies.I would like to receive the total amount for the month for the humiliation and deception that my fiance and I experienced, plus the 14,000 that went missing. If the hotel was ligitimate,there would have been no reason to lie.They had no right to evict me.Now I have a broken tv and out over $14000 and a refund of only $75 for 2 unused weeks
