Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 10, 2015/12/29) */ We did a shower overhaul for [redacted] and his wifeTheir shower was leaking and they had us redo the bathroomBy the second day we were ready to tile the bathroom [redacted] was not home while the guys on my crew were working but he left $cash on the counter for usI traveled hour and minutes for an appointment that was scheduled to be complete the grout and the rest of the showerI also had other workers with me that made the trip out there ready to workNo one answered the door and after minutes of knocking we had no choice but to leaveThen I was scheduled to go back out there on a Saturday [redacted] cancelled on me and the same guys that drove out there for the other previous scheduled appointment that was then cancelled [redacted] stopped returning my phone calls and text messagesThat is not true that I did not respond to him- I had no reason not to answer or respondI tried to get in touch with them but was unable to get a hold of themIn one of the voicemails I left I told them not to use the shower because it was not finished and could leak***'s wife then posted slanderous reviews on our Facebook page but I had never even dealt with herThen in early November [redacted] finally called me because he noticed a small leak in his showerI told him I would come and finish the job but would require that he pay $for each cancelled appointmentI have not heard from him sinceI deleted every photo from the job that we did off of Facebook per ***'s requestI have tried everything I can to work with these consumersI do not want to leave unfinished work out there and would be more than happy to go back and complete the shower

It was all a misunderstandingI have sent a check out today next day mailing it and they will be receiving their refund tomorrow

I'm dealing with this issue with my lawyerI did a service call for himHis heater was out and I came to fix repair the issueThe next day, he scheduled a cleaning for the unit and it stopped working againHe got upset because I asked
him to pay the billI told him it would be another service fee if it was a different issue than the one I just came forThe motor had gone out, which was no doing of my ownThis unit hadn't been serviced in probably yearsI went back out there and he didn't want to pay for the second service fee, though we had already agreed to itI told him if he didn't want to pay us, then we would deduct it from the money he had paid, and it would be an outstanding balanceI offered him $to make this go away because I didn't want this issue to continueI tried to send him a check and he keeps saying he never got a checkHe was supposed to have his bank call me because he said he didn't want to have any more contact with meThey hadn't tried to charge my card reader back at this pointHe just didn't want to pay for the second service fee, though he had agreed toIf he is not going to remove the slander, calling me a racist and bashing me, that he has posted, I do not want to refund him his moneyIf he will, I would be happy toHe is belittling me in public with no back to prove his point

I was scheduled to go to out their home to repair the bathroom sink and did additional work which I did not charge them forI also repaired their garbage disposal and told them they could not use it for hours because the seal needed to dry
but they admitted they had used it that nightThree days later the seal was leaking around the garbage disposalThey called me back to set up an appointment to repair their garbage disposalWe set an appointment at 6:45PM but then the consumer's husband told me that if I could not make it by 6:15PM not to worry about itHe contacted someone else to fix it and I did not hear from them after thatI would've gladly gone back to re-seal the disposal had they gotten in contact with meI was not aware that they were dissatisfied

I have left them messages and let them know that I was in Florida and I will be taking care of this and sending them a refund.

Then I was scheduled to go back out there on a Saturday. [redacted] cancelled on me and the same 4 guys that drove out there for the other previous scheduled appointment that was then cancelled. [redacted] stopped returning my phone calls and text messages. That is not true that I did not respond to him- I had no reason not to answer or respond. I tried to get in touch with them but was unable to get a hold of them. In one of the voicemails I left I told them not to use the shower because it was not finished and could leak. Then in early November [redacted] finally called me because he noticed a small leak in his shower. I told him I would come and finish the job but would require that he pay $75 for each cancelled appointment. I have not heard from him since. I deleted every photo from the job that we did off of Facebook per [redacted]'s request. I have tried everything I can to work with these consumers. I do not want to leave unfinished work out there and would be more than happy to go back and complete the shower.
