Review: Crossroad Ventures Group has an employee [redacted] that we have had to deal with as she is part of the property management that we had to use for our last residence. We constantly had issues of her not responding to requests but if she had anything she needed we would be sent several emails that same day until we responded.

At the time of our moving we provided more that the required 30 days and wanted to work on getting it done ahead of time but she was wanting the place to be cleaned beyond what is required by law for a resident that had been at the location for several years. We also noted at time of move in of issues the place had, such as Carpet still had funky odor and there were several lights out that we ended up replacing and they were expensive lights as well. Several times during this process she would tell us one thing on the phone and we even have a voicemail of her stating she was going to be sending our security deposit but then the legal time passed and we had not received the check and when we asked she said that she was still waiting on repairs. We informed her of the law and she tried to say that she was still waiting and never said she was going to send the check, Again we have a Voicemail as proof. She also said that the carpet was being taken out and not to worry and then just a few days before the last of the month then told us we needed to have it cleaned, and said that it needs to be done professionally. Which again, it was not done that way before we moved in and we noted that on the move in sheet.

She has completely ignored the law and at this point we are still waiting on our check and we are concerned that we are not going to be provided a Itemized statement of all work done and it be a truthful representation.

This company has decided to hire someone who is unprofessional and not truthful in her business.Desired Settlement: At this point we feel that we should only be charged for a few damaged areas that we are aware we are responsible for. We do not feel that anything more than $400 should have been deducted. She also wants to charge for her time and that is no where in the lease contract or any other paperwork. We have tried to be fair in this but she has made it so we have to go to small claims court and I am filing this.
